I believe the loss of the industrial base and death of decent working class lifestyles had something to do with it. The huge growing underclass is largely dysfunctional

My theory for the death of rap, country and rock is there is no struggle anymore. The world is amazing especially in the USA. The worst you have it is an iPhone and only one car.
