Am I the only one still listening to Glam metal music?

OK so here I am at almost 50, and I guess still have the same spirit of a teen stuck in the 80's and early 90's. I still buy glam metal/hair metal cd's online and always find new stuff that I have never heard before. Some of the bands are very good, and even the other bands that were not elite back then wrote great music and lyrics compared to today's music (sorry if I hurt your feelings). But in reality, these bands had a great talent musically considering that there was no auto tune or sound engineering enhancement back then. There probably was, but not as today's.
Anyways, been listening to a lot of Warrant, Poison & Def Leppard lately. Guns N Roses occasionally. What do you like? Do you agree that this genre is phenomenal and the sound is unmatched?

Do you really still buy CD's? I'm the same age and haven't bought a CD since Napster...
But... I do still like the old 80's hairband music.

I'll fricking cut you for including Guns in Glam metal. The one time they did the getup in a video was mocking Glam metal.

Music junkie here, you know the tangibles. I still have my LP's and sometimes grab some great LP's off eBay. You know, the jacket cover, art cover, etc.

I still rock some hair metal in the car from time to time.

You need a Spotify account. It'll save you money from buying CDs and has all the glam metal you could possibly ever want to listen to at the touch of a button.

I know a guy in his mid 40s who is absolutely obsessed with anything and everything Motley Crue.

Compared to what is popular today, 80s hair bands are like listening to Beethoven or Mozart

Not really. Come to Miami and you will find that Latin oriented music (salsa, reggaeton, etc) is predominant over here. Educate yourself before posting nonsense.

I'm in my 40;s and recently started listening to early Def Leppard for the first time.( On Through the Night, High 'n' Dry, and Pyromania). I was never really a fan of their later albums as it became a lot more pop rock but the older albums are pretty good.
I still listen to GNR, Motley Crue, but prefer the heavier stuff from that era(Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy, Slayer)

Subtle difference, but I've always thought of glam rock and hair metal as two different things. "Glam rock" was more of a 70's thing, mostly out of the UK (T.Rex, Sweet, Gary Glitter, etc). It was more "poppy". Hair metal (Poison, Motley Crue, Warrant, etc) seemed to be a little heavier.
Either way, both have good tunes
