AIC has so many good ones, but this is the best. This version sounds better than the studio version.

I grew up listening to Motown, jazz, and the blues. THEN, I heard THIS, and while I’m still urban contemporary, part of me will always want to rock out!

Once I entered adulthood I've never understood this. Maybe you had to be around in the 70s, idk. When I was a teenager and first getting into music any website (internet was pretty new in those days) or magazine article or VH1 "top whatever countdown" that i'd watch were all in unison; stairway is one of the best, if not the best, songs of all time.
So I just accepted that as fact. But as I got older I kinda subscribed to that less and less. Yes it's a nice song. But best ever? There's a dozen or more songs just by LZ alone I'd put as better. Or at least that I'd prefer to listen to. If someone could explain to me why STH is considered as such an all timer I would love to be enlightened. And I don't say that facetiously either...like I would really like to understand.

I agree. Live and Let Die is the best Bond song EVER.
It completely enhances the drama/action throughout the movie, and is timed perfectly with whatever scene it's in.

Great songs get great covers by great bands as my journey into bluegrass has led me to find out as this one been popping on my feed and its just well like...heaven.
fwiw. I think Jack Straw might be my favorite Dead song for today but there are 478 versions to choose from so I dont know..

That's my second favorite Bond song, but in no way does it match the timing and intensity of Live and Let Die in those action scenes.

In order not to introduce my own biases, I gave AI this prompt.
It spit out the Zombies.
For them, I'll pick Time of the Season...

Good song...but my favorites would be between Paul Revere and Sabotage.
