one of my first concerts as I was 13 yrs old and went with my uncle. I enjoyed the setlist; however, IMO The Superdome concert acoustics have always been horrible. I regret not seeing Pink Floyd in 1994 Division Bell as I chose not to go, thinking I could always see them again at a smaller venue

Saw them at the Dome the end of that decade, on the Steel Wheels tour.

I went mainly to see their opening act ... a then-young and quite hungry Living Colour.

Damn great set.

I’d change Keef’s number to “Happy” though.

George Thourogood and The Delaware Destroyers opened up for the Stones that night, and I thought that they were better.

Great show and my first time to see the Stones. I'll also add that 44 years ago today, 12/5/1978, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played at the LSU Assembly Center and on 12/5/1970, LSU stomped Ole Miss 61-17. I was at both of these events.

My first major concert was also the Stones in the Superdome but it was the one in 1978.

Me too if it weren’t for the hero worship I had for the Stones

I was there. Nosebleed seats. Jagger looked to be 1” tall.

The Springsteen 78/79 Darkness on the Edge of Town tour was really fantastic.

As an (fairly) old guy I really miss being young and getting to see these amazing artists in their prime.

It is unlikely but if any young people are reading this, don't squander your youth. Have fun while you can because it flies by fast!
