Ahh yes, the anti musician era, where seemingly every guitar player forgot how to solo and no one wrote bridges.

Same here. Last time I saw them was at Murphy's when they were doing shows for Fly Me Courageous. Cowboy Mouth opened for them
Was a damn good time. We were right up against the stage and the whole bar was jam packed. They just about blew the doors off the place when they did Straight to Hell and Honeysuckle Blue.

Man...I'm gonna have to disagree. While there's definitely some crap on that list, take a minute and consider the great albums and especially the ones that had monumental influence on the coming decade-plus in music and musicians, and still do today:
The Cure - Disintegration
Pixies - Doolittle
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
NIN - Pretty Hate Machine
Soundgarden - Louder Than Love
The Cult - Sonic Temple
De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising
RHCP - Mother's Milk
Faith No More - The Real Thing
Mudhoney - Mudhoney
I could keep going, but the importance of a lot of these albums listed can't be overstated.

Tin machine was absolutely awful
And nobody had heard of Nirvana so bleach doesn't count because it only took off after nevermind hit.
Godfathers
89 was a weird year because grunge was infecting everything.

Grunge didn't hit until 91. The albums on this list are just back catalog selections that nobody bought until after things went crazy a couple years later.

I'm not sure how many times I've seen them. I first saw them when they opened for Living Colour.

Meh. Paul's Boutique and Doolittle were amazing but that list gets pretty weak pretty quickly. A lot of artists showing their age and fading (Elvis Costello, Replacements, B52s, etc.). Lou Reed and Bob Mould albums were great.

I’ve never seen them in concert but every time someone ask me if I’m driving I always say “and Crying”.

and no offense, but Julie Cruise?
granted i had that cassette but she was just a one-trick pony and that album was literally the Twin Peaks soundtrack.
