If you had to choose one song off that list to listen to for the rest of your life. Which one would you choose?

Ouch. Either Stand(blech) or In Your Room. I have to think this is the worst hot 100 to that point?

Nobody had heard of it is what they’re going for.
Tom Petty’s Full Moon Fever is left off the entire top 100. I mean come the frick on

18 and Life

It's weird how college rock doesn't like melody or groove or anything.

Plenty of people heard about Nirvana and Bleach.. there was considerable buzz about that record at the time.. it was fricking great!

Now, no one would have ever predicted what would happen with their follow up... that's for sure! I would have assumed it would go largely unnoticed by the masses.. the same as all the other great bands making records at the time..

For me the Stone Roses s/t is easily the album of 1989... so good!

I bought the album because of Elephant Stone(US release) and honestly did not love much else about it. At least not like the other people who were listening to the same stuff as me.

Gretchen Goes to Nebraska (King's X) not on the list is a travesty. One of the best albums from 1989.
