From clips I've seen, it seems to have too much cheesy alpha crap.
I don't like cheesy.
Superhero movies where they do their super poses really makes me hate super hero movies.

As others have said, yes it’s outlandish, but it’s supposed to be.
I liked it more than I thought I would, seeing as I’m not into western/cowboy culture.
Taylor Sheridan described it as “The Godfather in the American west”. It’s worth a watch.

It's a western soap opera mixed with beautiful shots and music along with outlandish moments.
But yes, I watched them all along with the other 2 spinoffs.

This show is a true guilty pleasure. I love it. Like any show the longer it runs to more challenging to keep the stories fresh.
It tends to get way over the top from time to time but IDGAF because it's fun.
It's an adult western soap opera. It's not designed to solve world hunger.
The second spinoff 1923 is really good.

And tons of rodeo porn. Ruins season 3. Season 4 was meh and overboard. I barely remember the first half of season 5 and, unless my wife is dead set on watching, I probably won’t waste my time with the second half of season 5.
Sheridan is a dumbass. He made his money though.

It's a shell of its former self. Started out amazing and spun-off into delusional soap opera land. Shame. It had all the right pieces. Even early Beth was great....but everyone became caricatures of themselves.

Nope. Costner basically abandoned the show and everything is unresolved. Same for the prequel series. I doubt well ever see the conclusions. Taylor Sheridan was overstretched.

Season 1 had Beth boobs. That’s pretty much the only redeeming scene she’s in. Her character gets more and more cartoonishly ridiculous as the seasons go on.

First two seasons were good. Then it went and took itself to the train station. Unless you like sliding horses and boss Beth being the toughest hombre that has ever lived. She's the tornado. We are merely the trailer park, after all. Such a stupid, stupid line.

It’s entertaining but ridiculous. And they have a habit of completely dropping plot lines. Even the first two seasons are pretty outlandish.
