That finale was good. I didn't like last week at all but they made up for it. Overall another solid season imo.
Minus the first episode there wasn't much action happening but they still made the season flow pretty good.
I thought Jamie pulled up to "the train station" where all the bodies are and beth was gonna throw all of them on Jamie. Then she popped out that wasn't half as bad what i thought was coming.
I remember his pops saying you know where all the bodies are buried.

He hasn't heard the story of Beth's baby factory yet. How young she was he might kill over that.
That was some truly evil shite. Especially since he was acting like he was looking out for her.

At this point, I have no idea how I defend watching this shite. I guess I hold out hope that Jaime will shoot Beth between the eyes at a family gathering and John will say, well, she had it comin' with Kayce nodding with approval.

I think the natural conclusion is to think they were talking about Kaycee and his squaw . . . But the “end of us” could also mean the end of the Yellowstone.
Look at you trying to pull me back into Season 5. At this point, I think I'm done with the show. They ended the season good enough where I can just come up with my own ending.

Beth sucks.
By far the best acted and most interesting train wreck on the show.
Without Beth, the show stalls. She is the only character really moving the plot lines.

His storyline was almost laughable. So forced and cliché.
I fast forwarded much of the Jimmy story line(the amount of fast forward just a bit behind Kaycee n Monica) yet he had the most satisfying ending riding off to Texas with the Texas girl leaving Mia in the dust.
The wifey laughed out loud when Jaime went to his knees begging Beth. That whole sequence was a clown show.
The Kaycee dream sequence was the most discombobulated story line which capsulated the whole season. The season could have been told in 2.5 episodes... the rest was self indulging show producer fluff.

Episode 1 was fun
Season went downhill quickly after that

I just don't know what they were trying to accomplish other than teasers for 1883 and try to make you care enough about Jimmy to watch what looks to be a horrid 6666 spin off
-Alright establish Patton as the man coming after the duttons. "Yes jamie I did it and I'll keep trying to kill them" Except well he mostly does nothing after that but give out some bad political advice and then decides he's just going to mosey on out for a bit. There was a brief exchange with John that had no pay off because Jamie caps him, we're supposed to care but we don't. We barely knew the guy
-OK but this Market Equities old woman, she's sure going to be trouble right? Nope not really. I mean she supposedly hires Beth in order to trap her...but then comes storming in her office all pissed off. Didn't your dumbass plan work? Why are you mad?
-Well the Tribe is probably going to be making moves while everyone is distracted...No not really. They're just kind of around.
-Everyone likes Kayce surely he'll begin his ascent to leading the Dutton family. Nah he just listens to his bitch wife, leaves the ranch, and then goes on a vision quest because he saw a wolf. I assume when he told the Livestock commission he needed some time off to do this, they went ahead and shite canned him for being a crazy person.
-Did Beth die? No she's basically the main character now. She adopted a kid just to be a dick to. Check how bad arse she is though...for her wedding ceremony she kidnapped a priest with a gun for reasons? "oh daddy is was only a tiny gun!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA That Beth!

He had the most satisfying ending if I cared at all what happened to him. I sat watching him and thinking, "I'm supposed to feel emotional about this and I just do not care." The show did a horrible job of making me care about him. No way he can carry the lead in a 4 6's show.

I know, right? He's just not a likable character. I mean you kinda root for him but that's it.

I love how Jimmy goes from being the complete butt of every joke to clowning other veteran hands at the poker table.
I mean, I get what they're trying to go for here... but it's just so unbelievable. They really went for some Lifetime Family Channel level humor and relationships with all the cowboys. It's like they want part of the show to be feel good cowboy bromance stuff and the other half of the show to be Sopranos/SOA criminal depravity. Just really weird.

I don’t see Jimmy being the lead in the new show.
He’ll be the link between the two shows but I fully anticipate him getting killed off in the pilot or season 1 finale and the real stars/primary characters moving the show forward without him

Taylor Sheridan: Jimmy, you're a piece of shite and I can't stand looking at your face. You don't deserve to drive my truck.
** a few days later **
Jimmy: I heard an old-timer talk.
Taylor Sheridan: Jimmy, you're a real fricking cowboy. Take the world's most expensive horse on a cross-country trip.
Jimmy: Yes sir. BTW, Texas chili has no beans.
Everyone: Holy balls, Jimmy is a real fricking cowboy!!

loved the first couple of seasons but this show has definitely gone soft.

She is an absolute plague of a character.
This x 1000, though every female I know who watches the show loves her, so annoying. I wish Beth was gone.

Ironic how John Dutton effectively being a serial killer with his “train station” is never addressed. Lots of
bad guys and dead bodies down in that ravine.
Season 4 was abysmal.
