re: Yellowstone season 4, season long thread.

where to start?
First, what happened to the lugnut kid? he runs off to find the missing lug nuts, van rolls up , shoots john and then shoots the mom as she's running down the road. no mention of him all season. i guess john got coma amnesia?
what happened to the lawsuit the indian lawyer was going to file? she walks out saying "that will be the basis of our lawsuit". But 2 months later construction is well under way?
no way am i buying jamie's bio dad is the mastermind behind the attacks. no way his broke arse has the resources to fund that big of an attack. not even buying that he has the brains to coordinate an attack that size on 4 fronts. he's dumb enough to think jamie could run for governor with him by his side.
baby mama was conveniently absent when it came time to plug bio dad.
the wolf basically told kayce he choose poorly. which path do you choose? well, the both suck. yes, because you chose to marry a miserable bitch who isn't happy unless you're unhappy.
the barrel racers are still around although they serve no purpose whatsoever. the blonde nearly gets lloyd beat to death. mia pushed jimmy into getting fricked up physically for a second time. they are like a cancer in the bunkhouse. mia "left" more times than i can count yet, here she is in the finale causing more bunkhouse drama.
seeing mia get an arse whipping and left crying on the roadside might have been the best part of the finale.
you're surprised he chose a hotter woman who actually has a career over your whiney, bitch arse who almost got him killed?
on the Lloyd/Walker/Blonde shite, why did it take lloyd half the season to blow up? she started fricking walker last season. it's like the writer started a storyline, got distracted by something and then remembered "oh yeah lloyd was supposed to get mad".
jamie can sometimes be the smartest person in the room and then be the dumbest. when he went to get kayce out of jail for shooting monica's brother, he wiped the floor with those guys. and in the finale meeting last season he made pretty much everyone look dumb. other that the indian lawyer.
but, then he thinks it's a good idea to run for office with bio dad by his side?

Great summary. At this point I’m only watching simply because I’ve been watching. If I knew there were definitely 5 or more seasons left I would probably quit now. I think I’ll give it one more season to see if the writers get the message it sucks. But I’m not sure they have the ability to be better.
1883 looks interesting but there’s no way I’m starting another show by this group. Same goes for the 6666 spinoff. If I hear down the road either of those shows is actually good, then that’s what streaming is for.

Wife and I watch it to make fun of it. It’s actually one of the only shows we watch together because of this. I share some of the comments in this thread with her throughout the week and she cracks up.

This show went absolutely nowhere this season. I kept waiting and waiting for something to happen, and after the season finale, I realized there is absolutely nothing interesting about Yellowstone anymore.
Maybe they'll get it together next season, but this one was a shitfest.

Went back to the beginning of the series last night, watched the first 2 episodes so far.
Sheridan himself needs to go back and watch that first season. THAT is what fans want. not what we got in season 4.

I do love her. But this season's writing is ruining her character. I wanted more of the Beth we saw at the end of last season when she started to open up to Rip. I wanted to see them help each other become whole.
