I believe Nolan has already locked in his next project after Odyssey, its a smaller more straightforward film as I recall.
He's also loving his current arrangement with Universal so I doubt he would be interested

So long James Bond... hello Shanequa Bond

I think Nolan and EON flirted last year. They had to have at least had a conversation. EON would be stupid not to at least try and Nolan is too big of a Bond fan not to listen. Doubt Nolan wanted to be micromanaged by Broccoli.

Dayum. I LOVE the 80/90's British TV Sherlock Holmes played by Jeremy Brett. I keep a BritBox subscription just so I can watch that from time to time. Well worth a watch for any Sherlock fan, it's extremely true to source. My definitive Sherlock actor. He was just perfect. But I went on a rJeremy Brett rabbit hole one day because he was so dang good in that I was like how was this guy not more popular. Found out he was asked to play Bond, and by his account he turned it down, and it went to Lazenby. He loved playing Sherlock and thought it would take him away from that role. It wasn't until you posted the image for Flemmings version of Bond that I realized he definitely could have been a perfect Bond. He had the acting chops (for sure better than GL), and definitely had the look similar to the books.

Leslie Jones will make an incredible Bond

Fleming's Bond looks like a young Gary Cooper.

If Rings Of Power is any indication…

Ian Fleming himself claimed to have David Niven in mind when he wrote the books, with Niven being Bond in part of the disastrous Casino Royale (1967).

Welp, that pretty much guarantees Bond will now be an minority women or the gayest tranny this side of a kamala rally.

Welp, I'd say it couldn't get any worse than it was... but it's Amazon.

Fleming compared Bond's appearance to Hoagy Carmichael
Fleming also wrote Bond with a thin scar on his right cheek, but we've never been given that version of Bond in movies.
Fun fact: The name James Bond came from an ornithologist from Philadelphia , Pennsylvania who just happened to be an expert on birds in the Caribbean.
Fleming wrote his first Bond novel while in Jamaica and happened to have a copy of one of his books.
He said:
quote:
“It struck me that this brief, unromantic, Anglo-Saxon and yet very masculine name was just what I needed, and so a second James Bond was born.”

Well, one more franchise in the trash.
I mean if you hear the quotes of what the daughter wanted to do with it moving forward its more like out of the frying pan and into the fire.

It’s over. It’s been over.

Barbara Broccoli loves Daniel Craig.
And he was a great choice for Bond in hindsight. His performance in Casino Royale was incredible. Had they kept that version of Bond instead of going the "muh feelings" route, it would have been okay. She led the way in casting Pierce Brosnan in the 1990s. The woman knew how to pick 'em.
