On a recent episode of the Schmoes Know show, it was revealed that Wonder Woman may be a big mess. According to host Sasha Perl-Raver, someone with insider info has seen the movie, or at least a decent chunk of the movie, and claims that it is "discombobulated" and not the great movie the trailers have led fans to believe it might be. Here is what was said by Sasha Perl-Raver on the Schmoes Know show.

quote:

"So, I don't want to throw anyone under the bus. We have somebody within our community who has gotten insider information that broke my effing heart this week, because I have tremendous belief that Wonder Woman is gonna be awesome and I heard it stinks from the same person who told me that they heard that BvS stinks...The person who I spoke to...their response was 'I'm very disappointed in what I saw, and it seems like all the problems are the same problems. It's discombobulated, it doesn't have narrative flow. It's just very disjointed."

I feel like DC is just done at this point. the movie will make money for the next 3 or 4 but people will stop going after that.

We know it's not an issue with source material when it comes to DC...

So wtf? Producers? WB? Directors?

Seems like writers/editors screwed up BvS and especially Suicide Squad.

Granted, that may be a symptom of directors and the studio

DC tended to be more personal stories, honestly (Superman notwithstanding). DC was late to the whole comprehensive universe game, to boot. Finally, lack of a central vision for a long time - and now that they - sort of - have one, it's a bad one. Affleck was a mistake (folks disagree with this) - although he may turn into a serviceable director for them (his strength appears to lie behind the camera, particularly in the long run - he was such an inconsistent leading man/late bloomer for a lead actor).

Snyder's work has been polarizing - they might have been better served by jumping into a Justice League film with just better, more cohesive casting choices all around. Pipe cleaner arms can't be the only choice for WW, Cavill is young enough, they could have rebooted Superman retaining him and going away from too dark and gritty - dark and gritty is fine for individual stories, but the universe should have been built around a more optismitic and positive Superman, with folks like Batman and The Flash drawing the grittier, knock about stories.

Having everything dark and gritty doesn't allow for the light and fun moments that make the Avengers movies stand out (and, ultimately, enjoyable).

Yeah, Schmoes were the first to say that Suicide Squad was a disaster and we know how that turned out. There's way too much smoke about WW having issues.

The new Batman movie is rumored to be a mess too. It hasn't even been written. The SJW campaigning against DC comic films has been in full force. It might be a mess- we'll know in a few months...but the chicken littling is hilarious.

They just need to put the DC movies on hold until someone who knows their arse from a hole in the ground is involved. Reboot the whole shooting match.
And they should have cast Jaimie Alexander or Alexandra Daddario as Wonder Woman. Matter of fact, if I were Jaimie Alexander, I would fire my fricking agent for not getting me that part.

Screwed it up more, but every part of it was a disaster. I don't know what you could do to save it save for scrapping everything.

I think we all know how the next 6 months will go

1. Studio comes out and says the reports of the movie being a mess are way overblown and everything is fine

2. Superfans and a certain few who see a sneak peak will tweet out that it was amazing and the best DC movie in a long time

3. The movie will come out and everyone will realize its just as big of a pile of shite as BvS and SS

I'm beginning to think nolan needs to bring christian back to do a complete 180 on this thing.

What smoke is that? That fake letter from the "WB insider"?

I think both Nolan and Christian Bale are done, done, done with Batman.
And there's no way Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League fit in the Nolan universe. I mean, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash all could have physically overwhelmed the Joker or Bane in the time it takes to microwave a cup of soup. The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises would have been 8 minute movies with the rest of the Justice League involved. You think Superman would let a roided-out guy with a breathing mask take Gotham over from his main man, Batman? Or Wonder Woman would let a creepy arse clown terrorize a city that Batman protected?
Warners needs to get away from all that. Wipe the slate clean.

Marvel owns the movie medium

DC owns the family-friendly TV series genre

DC needs to learn to stay in it's fricking lane.

That's so ridiculous DCs problem is the movies haven't been very good. If JL were to turn out great (I know, huge "if") it easily makes 1.1-1.3 billion.
