This scene made me laugh out loud. He just reversed his wish but yet he’s able to still
fly Marine One to find his son. And how was he able to find his son in a random park? It’s not like there were cell phones. Maybe they explained that location piece but honestly I wasn’t paying much attention to the movie by that point. It was so bad. This thread is going to be absolute gold over the next few days. If we did a let’s over analyze WW84 it would be incredible.

They could have used the 1984 nostalgic setting to polish the movie up but even that was cringeworthy

I'll add that the mall robbery scene was garbage. These were common thugs that Diana should have mopped the floor up with in just a few seconds. The producers decided to use this as a way for her to literally show off and it was not a good show.

Gal is better as the upbeat WW1 Diana. The mopey sad Gal really strains her acting ability. Though the lines she’s given are pretty bad.

Yeahhhh whatever momentum that was created per WW1 clearly got shite on here. Patty Jenkins really showing off her skills on this one. Good visuals plus Gal Gadot were the only wins. Everything else was just fricking tarded.

But yeah, I agree with the overall sentiment here. Movie was just bleh. No real villains. Payoff was lame. No emotional moments. Just meh.

Abhorrent use of Pedro Pascal.
It was very cynical version of the 80s and that’s not why you use the 80s as a setting. You’re supposed to use it for fun!

I had a feeling the was a problem when the guy drops a gun in the mall and a woman screams he’s got a gun and immediately there is a stampede of people headed out the doors.

The opening gave it a very classic Superman vibe but once it got rolling into the actual story it was pretty bad.
