I’d have preferred he not screw it up but that ship’s sailed.

Balance that.

It looks to me like comic movies in general have screwed up. This one has done the best this year. So maybe look at the ones that actually flopped?

Why so interested in this one?

I know it’ll be lucky if it tops 600.

The only good superman movie is one that shows him being all powerful all the time, and is totally free of conflict and stakes. This would make an incredibly compelling movie. I know this because I've never seen a movie or read a story before.

Stick to watching Emily in Paris, that’s more your speed.

I thought the movie is Right up there with Reeve's Superman. The casting is excellent as well.

Okay...?

It needs less than 500k to pass MI: The Final Reckoning for 6th worldwide.

Superman's biggest issue was that it didn't have as good of an international market as some others; it's #3 overall domestic (only A Mimecraft Movie and Lilo & Stitch did better).

Honestly, Superman's biggest sin when it comes to box office was not finding a way to cater more to Chinese audiences. It did very well in the US, but the biggest international market is China where it bombed.

Of course it would bomb in China. If Superman 2025 bombed there I would hate to see how hard Superman 1978 would.

The biggest sin was Gunn thinking he could do a Superman movie.

Because he can’t. He didn’t do a good job with this start of DC studios grande vision.

It's a good, enjoyable movie - period.

I'm not sure why you're hellbent on being a miserable little cuss, but maybe go find something to chill out with.

Grab a drink
Take some weed
Get fricking laid

Clearly you need SOMETHING.

Life is too short to suffer crap shows or movies. But you do you.

I thought it was a good movie overall, but it felt a bit like a formula I’ve seen before with the quirky cast of snarky sidekicks.

If it was me, I would dial those background characters back about 50%, focus on Superman and Lois, and let Superman show out more. He spends a lot of time taking punches in this movie.

But that’s just me. Like I said… overall… it’s good.

Thunderbolts were better imo

Gtfo with that. Thunderbolts* had a lot of great potential, but the climax of beating the big bad was helping a fricking emo kid deal with his feelings. That movie started as an 8 or 9 and finished as a 2.

Superman wasn't some great fim, but it was a good movie and fun to watch.

How I felt. Decent movie liked the plot, but the super dog and the Justice gang outside of Terrific did nothing for me. Especially the outfits. But some enjoyed more so cheers.
