I'm at work so I can't really do this but would someone want to make a list of all the storylines that need to be tied up? I feel like multiple storylines can be concluded with one or two plot points.
For example, the Russioans storyline will tie up both the Cougar and Gaitok storylines. Or the NC Dad's criminal issues will tie up all of the NC family storylines.
If we have a list of everything still out there, maybe we can discuss how they might be related or unrelated and whether they can be concluded together or need separate endings?

So glad they cut that shite out. We didn’t need a bunch of lecturing about orange man bad and nonbinary trans oppression shite . Nobody wants to hear it and especially from 3 rich bitches vacationing in Thailand at a 4 seasons.
quote:
White Lotus’ star Carrie Coon reveals her character was supposed to have a nonbinary child with they/them pronouns but the scene was cut after Donald Trump’s re-election:
"Considering the way the administration has weaponized the cultural war against transgender people even more since then, when the time came to cut the episode down, Mike White [creator] felt that the scene was so small and the topic so big that it wasn’t the right way to engage in that conversation."

I don't think so. I think it is a red herring. The Ratliff family while dealing with very serious issues, seem to absurd end of the spectrum with the themes of this season. The chuckle when considering the worst possible scenario.
Tim is legitimately pondering taking his own life and some of al or his family's lives as well. I think Tim is going to concoct some type of Jim Jones potion in the blender, only for it backfire terribly while giving the viewer some sort of absurd or laughable moment.
Poisonous fruits are usually very bitter as a warning. My guess is the smoothie will taste horrible and no one will drink it. Tim and the family will have some sort of epiphany only for it to be short lived by the tragedy that is in motion....whether it impacts one of them or someone they know at the resort. Regardless....the Ratliffs will not return to North Carolina the same.

I would like to see a spin-off with Rick and Frank. Those two have great chemistry. You can make an entertaining show with those two just getting into stupid shite.

I'm on board with Gaitok turning out to be a bad arse.
Took her to a fight on first date (he feels comfortable there). Probably fought there before.
Said he wasn't scared, just didn't like hurting people.
He is going to beat Russian arse next episode and Gary/Greg will get caught in the crossfire.

I’ll be real disappointed if more than one Ratliff dies.
I think the death(s) happen during the shootout and someone gets caught in the crossfire. Probably Mook or Gaitok shortly after she realizes badass Gaitok was the guy for her all along. And maybe one or two more.

If I were married to the Parker Posey character I would have probably offed myself a long time ago.
She certainly nails the role of the typical southern woman, materialistic & shallow.

I wish they gave her more to do. Posey is just fantastic

Her expressions last night when she was talking to that girl were priceless.

Other than the Sam Rockwell interactions (and the snake show), I actually have been most dissapointed in the Walton Goggins storyline. That's probably because I had such high expectations for anything he was involved in, but it just feels like he's been a little underutilized.
My guess is the Jim Hollinger character must have a big role in the finale given how much screen time has been given to this subplot. Seems like he may have recognized the name of Rick’s mom. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s actually Rick’s dad. I’m guessing the private security guards show up at the hotel looking for Rick and become involved in the shootout. So much time put to this subplot for it to just whittle away like that.

yeah. that isn't the last of him.

The Rick storyline is just stupid at this point. His plan was a ruse to get a face to face with his dad’s suspected killer and then flash a gun at him and say “I know you killed my dad you POS!” Then go back to the hotel he and his wife owns like all is kosher?

I believe this is the case. Mom made up the story of Rick’s dad getting killed.

quote:I keep seeing theories like this, but only one main character died in the first two seasons. I don't see that changing.
What if Tim has a real Twilight Zone ending? He makes everyone suicide smoothies then gets a call that the Fed’s witness is dead and they no longer have a case.

I love this series and Walt Goggins is the GOAT, but sadly I’ve been very underwhelmed with the show the last few weeks and his character.
His character hasn’t done shite this season except mope around and bitch. So much potential. This was the freaking pen ultimate episode

White should’ve stuck to 6 or 7 episodes. Seems like he doesn’t quite know what to do with 8.

i agree, goggins' plot has been boring
i'm very much not a middle aged white woman, but i've enjoyed their scenes a lot
