well .... to be fair.
The Trump scene was written about 2.5 years ago.
And the cobras/other snakes at those kinds of places are usually stripped of their venom, especially in the general population area of a snake farm where Rick would have released them.

I just don’t think the three cougars add anything to the story. Hot rich white women talk shite about each other behind their back. More at 10

Everyone griping about this season being slow, that has been my biggest issue with this series since the beginning but I’ve learned to just sit back and enjoy. This season is definitely not slower than the others, I think everyone just has the last few episodes of every season in their mind. Season 1 and 2 were stupid slow up until the last couple of episodes.

probably because you are not a woman that lives with or has experienced this type of dynamic
and the point of all of these characters is that any of them have the plausibility to be the shooter
any of the 3 cougars could get so overcome with bitterness/jealousy, that they could snap
that is their point to the story

It's definitely a different experience for me having to wait a week between episodes rather than binging like I did the previous ones. Makes it feel slow. Enjoying it though

For sure, I just remember watching the first 2 seasons thinking the exact same thing and going into this season, I knew what to expect. A super slow character study lol. It’s been that way since the beginning

I think the basic character groups are just less interesting (pre-conflicts) this time around. That, and my hopes were through the roof for Posey and Goggins, and both of their characters are dialed back. I know it will get better, but this is definitely a slower start with less interesting folks.

I disagree totally, the Italians from last season were not really interesting at all, the two sluts were just sluts, Tanya was played out and became unbearable and annoying. The gays were fun lol, and the 2 couples were interesting but the season really didn’t get going until the gays turned up and they went to the island. They still have 5 episodes left in this season and I think as a whole, the characters are more interesting. The Ratliffs and the cougars are far more entertaining than the others from last season, hopefully with Rick going to Bangkok he gets going.

I absolutely love the slow burn of this season. And there has been a ton of stuff that has either happened or shown to happen offscreen, and they all fit into the storyline.
That’s what WL has always done.
Every single character in this season is lightyears more interesting as Jennifer Coolidge’s character. And she was a main focus of each of the first two seasons. The only one I can’t stand and find zero interest in is the black therapist chick. But at least she’s serving a purpose with the Greg angle.
