One of the best I’ve seen recently. Just finished bingeing it on Amazon prime. It’s a shame the last season was only 6 episodes. What a ride. Wish more mystery shows incorporated historical mysteries into their story line.

Surprised I hadn’t heard of it before now. It should get more love around here.

Amazon must not advertise it much because I've never heard of it. I'll have to check it out.

It's not getting pushed because it's about 10 years old. It was part of a run of very solid and enjoyable popcorn TV shows USA network had starting in the late 2000s and I think most are on Amazon and Hulu.

Burn Notice
Covert Affairs
Monk
Psych
Royal Pains
Suits
White Collar

Feels like streaming killed this feel good easy watch shows. USA used to kill it back in the day.

It was fun, but I wouldn’t say it was great. Not on the level of Monk or Psych. More like Burn Notice. USA was the king of shows like this. Just super entertaining stuff they were putting out.

Monk, White Collar, and Royal Pains were great. Tried to get into suits but never could.

Rewatched Royal Pains a few years ago and still have a soft spot for it.

Suits: 2011-2019
White Collar: 2009-2014

Was a great run before the streaming services took over. Only one I haven't seen is Royal Pains, may need to add to my "next to binge list". Just need to figure out if I should move it before a White Collar rewatch

Royal Pains is probably one of the weaker of that group, a concierge doctor in the Hamptons isn't quite as exciting as detectives, thieves, and spies, but it was still a fun show with good characters.

To people looking for shows like this in general I'd also add Leverage to the list. It's also from this era and is on FreeVee, Amazon's free with ads tv streamer.

One of my favorites, my wife and i have watched it thru twice.

The USA run in the 2000s is underrated

Burn Notice, Suits & White collar were my go to. I started Covert Affair, but stopped for a reason I cannot remember. Could have been simply I was watching too much TV and wanted to drop something.

Psych was up there until he finally landed Juliet. Still watched here and there, but didn't stay with it through the last 2 seasons

fricking yes. It was the weak point of the show and I always believed once they got together it would ruin the show. It was a bromance show, not a romance show. Also, if you going the romance route, Abigail and Shawn were a way better match. Juliette kinda sucked.

Those USA Network shows were definitely cop shows for straight men.

White Collar was a great idea, and solid execution. But man, once I learned that Matt Bomer was gay, I couldn't see him seducing good looking woken anymore. Couldn't suspend the disbelief.

It was getting hard for the to come up with new storylines that kept the series at a "believable" level so the last season was made short to end on a high note with the pink panthers storyline.

During Covid, Bomer and the show's creator talked about reviving the series and all of the other actors were on board. I think that ultimately got scrapped when Willie Garson died because you can't have White Collar without Mozzie.

But yeah this show was great!

fun era of cable tv.

i don't know if it was TNT or USA but add Franklin and Bash. Loved that show and we'll never know what happened to Stanton Infield after he ate the fish.

i just started watching White Collar. It is a pretty enjoyable show. Never watched it when it was airing live.

Definitely an old school show. Every episode has some type of good looking woman character. She typically is only around for that episode but every episode like clock work.
