I also don't love Goodfellas nearly as much as most on this board. I thought it was good, but it's not in my top 5 like some people on here.
Me either. I was so glad when Joe Pesci's character got whacked. Henry Hill was just a cocky douchebag who wasn't shite w/o his gangster muscle backing him up and came across as being a whiny, small little "man." I actually felt bad for Pauly when Henry rolled over on him.

Hell. Yes.
Good movie, but it is 100% not one of the greatest comedies of all time.
very surprised people agreed with me. Thought for sure I was going to get crushed for that one. Most people on M/TVB put it top 3 if not their favorite comedy of all time and I just don't see it.

The Big Lebowski is the most overrated piece of shite movie ever.

Boondock Saints
I have a friend who has the latin phrases tattooed on him and I piss him off all the time with my hate for the undeserved popularity of this movie.

Just don't like and my friends do:
Every slap shtick comedy minus Spaceballs
Pretty much every horror movie
I respect it for how well it is made, but I just don't like watching it and my friends watch it all the time:
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Friends don't like it, but I do:
Godfather (Most of my friends say its to boring, and I think it is the greatest movie ever made.)
My biggest WTF by critics:
Lost in Translation

How did I forget this. It's usually my go to movie in threads like this.
I'll also throw in Sin City.

I love seeing this post go for so long because I really appreciate everyone's opinions and especially enjoy reading the reasons some movies are disliked.
Some of the movies mentioned here are one's that I have never seen except of on networks like TNT, USA & FX with commercials and without the original dialogue. That makes it hard to judge them fairly.
One in particular that I have seen bits & pieces of like that and was unimpressed is We Were Soldiers. From reading some quotes about it in another thread I have come to realize I need to watch it uncut & without commercials.
This thread makes me think there are probably other movies I need to give a second chance to also.
Keep up the good work and thank you for all the comments.
