For me, it's Shawshank. I'm not saying its bad; I just think its EXTREMELY overrated.

This is a good one too, especially around here.

As for those saying they prefer Casino to Goodfellas. I prefer Donnie Brasco over both.

+1

Goodfellas is probably a better overall film but I just love Donnie Brasco - it's not the glittery mob and is more about friendship - while Goodfellas is about the absence of such.

Magnolia was huge bore, but I liked PTs other movies...

I remember when everyone was talking about how funny Napoleon Dynamite was... I walked out 30 minutes into it... wanted to punch everyone in the movie...

Also, I find those Sacha Baron Cohen movies annoying...

Back at you.

I didn't like Braveheart at all.

And thanks to someone for bringing up Napolean Dynamite. I was very 'meh' with it. Certainly didn;t understand what the world was raving about.

Clearly, you hate freedom. Filthy commie!

I agree with this. The only things funny about that movie were a couple of ancillary characters. Namely, Rex-Kwon-Do and Uncle Rico. Otherwise, it bored the hell out of me.

You know, they said the same thing about me when I told em I hated Independence Day.

I'm apparently an unpatriotic American earthling with communist tendencies.

Of the ones mentioned here?

I loved Apocalpyse Now. I could watch that over and over.

No Country for Old Men was great.

Loved Big Lebowski.

The first Matrix was wicked.

Got to go get ready for dinner but I'll come back later.

What is so great about this movie. I found it very boring. People on here rave about it, but why?

Not challenging you or anyone else. I think everyone has the right to like or dislike a movie but you said, "frick y'all!"

What am I missing?

I just think the acting and dialog is incredibly good. I was absolutely enthralled by the movie, the acting, and the way it was shot. (There's a pun there to be made with the word "shot" here but I'm too lazy) And I think it's the best performance of Brad Pitt's illustrious career.

That was me goofing around. I'm not serious. I rarely am.

Man for a movie no one has really talked about since it was released on DVD, Jesse James is getting tons of hate. Weird.

The Big Lebowski
I Love You Man (shite was awful)
Dumb & Dumber

Those are the 3 movies that I can't even believe people actually thought were just a tad bit funny.

Hell. Yes.

Good movie, but it is 100% not one of the greatest comedies of all time.

It's been a while so I may be wrong but it seemed like the majority of the movie was Casey Affleck being a bitch. Maybe that part of it just overwhelmed the rest of the movie to me.
