For me the opening speech isn’t even the strongest monologue in the movie.
When he’s explaining how he knew the Germans were finished while he was walking around the tank battle that had taken place and was referencing the endless retreat Napoleon had from Russia… That whole scene just gives me chills. He’s so descriptive when he’s saying things like “there was no color, not even the red of blood, just snow. “

Midway (2019).
The scenes of brave US Navy fighter pilots dive bombing the Japanese Carriers at Midway are so incredibly realistic. Must see if you didn't watch the movie, and makes you proud to be an American and thankful for extraordinaryly brave men like Squadron Commander Richard "Dick" Best in the two scenes linked below.
