Top 3 in the past year, from most recent:

1. Dirty Harry
2. Godzilla Minus One
3. Old Henry................one of the best westerns I've seen in a LONG time.

Just got done watching 13 Hours for the first time.

Intentionally didn't watch it, as I didn't want to see someone I know dying on TV.

Getting past that, it may be Bay's best movie. Everyone of those guys provided their best work. Every American should watch it.

It also pissed me off & made me sad. He won't get to celebrate Fathers Day. None of them will.

Vengeance (2022) currently on STARZ. BJ Novak (Ryan from the Office), wrote, directed, and stars in it. It also stars Issa Rae, and Boyd Holbrook. All three are excellent and there are a couple of clever cameos by major stars that are done very well. It's mainly a comedy but it deals with some very serious themes, but it's not intense like something like Prisoners or Spring Breakers. It is a great tale about how people from the North and South often misjudge esch other, but there is a lot going on.

Spin Me Round (2022) currently on Hulu and AMC+. It stars Alison Brie (Annie from Community), Aubrey Plaza (April from Parks and Rec), Molly Shannon, Tricia Helfer, Zach Woods (Gabe from the Office, Jared on Silicon Valley), Debby Ryan, Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker, and it was written and directed by Aubrey Plaza's husband Jeff Baena (who also wrote and directed Horse Girl starring Alison Brie as well, but Horse Girl is much much weirder and should only be watched by those who enjoy films as art projects.) Spin Me Round is hilarious and like the Menu, pokes a lot of fun at the foodie culture. It is mostly high brow humor here, not too much vulgar humor but Aubrey Plaza has never been more fun in anything quite like this and she's always seemed fun and cool. It also has slapstick humor but I cannot recommend this film or Vengeance enough.

You lost me with Aubrey Plaza's husband. There is no such thing unless it's me. I also hate Dave Franco to this day... you know why.

Also, Tricia Helfer needs a (BSG, Six, in parentheses).

Zach Woods (this guy fricks).

And Armisen?

That's like a wet dream of a cast. Lol.

So I tried it last night at your suggestion. I liked it a lot except it really slowed down during the middle. But I thought it was a masterpiece considering it was 1977.
