I thought Rickey Stanicky was funny in an old school sophomoric way.

They're was a John Cena movie I thought was really funny can't remember the name though. 22 jump street was the last comedy I really lost it laughing at.

No hard feelings is merging a lot as one of the best of 2020. It was funny but it wasn't super memorable.

I miss things like other guys, step brothers, and such

I'd kill for an Eddie Murphy type movie from the 80s.

More Beverly Hills Cop and less Best Defense, I’d hope.

A pretty funny movie with the toothless kid from Stranger Things came out this year I think. Pizza Party or something like that.

Palm Springs was my favorite comedy of this decade so far. Tag is a close second. Nothing compared to the 2000-2010 time frame but still the best we got.

Additionally I remember in 2005 seeing Waiting, 40 year old virgin and wedding crashers all within a couple months. Goat comedy era.

What is actually the point of regurgitating some LLM garbage in a board for discussing movies and opinions on movies

Balls up with Marky Mark I thought was hilarious at times on prime.

While watching this, I thought it was the closest thing to that late 90s comedy that we've seen in years.

Then problem is I'm not 15-18 anymore so I didn't find it funny, but I could understand the comedy from an observational/academic perspective.

Can't remember the last funny movie to come out
Most films now were conceived during the dark times

Comedy, that is funny, was too big a minefield

G20 (ironically)

The Death of Stalin is the last great comedy (2017)

We don’t need comedies anymore. We have Instagram and TikTok.

Bottoms was fukking hilarious. Probably my vote for funniest of the decade.

The new-ish Hulu stoner comedy, Pizza Movie, is a dumb mess but includes maybe the funniest scene I've seen in 10 years.

Splittsville last year had several lol scenes, and is generally just very good.

Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie is a 2026 release that is out there brilliant funny. Based on an old Canadian show/webseries I'd never seen.

Will Ferrell/reese Witherspoon wedding comedy, You're Cordially Invited, is much funnier than it has any right to be.

They Cloned Tyrone has more of a reputation as a sci-fi movie, but is very funny.

Metalocalyse: Army of the Doomstar is hilarious, if you have good taste.

Theater Camp and Hundreds of Beavers have nothing in common besides they both appeal to incredibly niche audiences that understand specific references/enjoy an off-kilter style.

Weird: the Al Yankovic Story is the dumbest funny this decade that definitely still works.

Jackass Forever came out in 2022, so that should probably be considered.

Shiva Baby is a great example of cringe comedy that introduced one of the more popular comedic voices of the decade.

How’d we go this far without mentioning Friendship? I get some don’t like it because Tim Robinson is an acquired taste but I thought it was easily the funniest movie of the last several years.

Deathstalker was pretty funny in the parody/tongue-in-cheek way.
