Agree. Her natural accent is thick Irish or Scottish, one of the two.

Root was born in Sarasota and is a UF Gator. His natural speaking voice is Southern, so it’s not much of a challenge for him. quote:Not bad, but Carol O’Connor (b. in Manhattan, raised in Queens) nailed his character’s accent in the TV series based on the film.
