The list is long my friend but one comes to mind.

A few years back, I saw a trailer with Matthew Mc where he was a damn fishing guide, hello, in the Caribbean, hello again. Sounds like a dream Ive had hundreds of times.

Had Ann Hathway and Jason Clarke (one of my favorites) , Djimon Hounsou and Diane Lane. Holy shite what a cast.

Went to the movies, I rarely do that, to see that with my wife. Was very excited.

fricking movie absolutely sucked. Im talking I could barely watch it. And the ending was something I could not believe. I was sitting there afterwards with the credits going up thinking, no way thats it.

The Phoenicia Scheme was like that for me. I enjoy Wes Anderson and the look and style of his movies, but he needs to spend more time on the story and less time on splashy celebrity casting. French Dispatch, Asteroid City, and The Phoenician Scheme is not a upward trajectory of movie making. Maybe some more stop-motion animation would help.

Of recent ones, Happy Gilmore 2. Started out not that great, and just got progressively worse

I tend to go into these movies like HG2, Coming 2 America, BHC Axel F, with the lowest of the low expectations and it makes them a little more enjoyable or at least you don’t finish the movie feeling let down.

BHC Axel F,

Haven’t seen it, but felt that way about Beverly Hills Cop 3. So so sooooo fricking bad. I blame John Landis for altering Eddie’s career, which was on pace to be one of the greatest in Hollywood history.

It’s amazing to me that the guy who directed Animal House, The Blues Brothers, An American Werewolf in London, Trading Places, Spies Like Us, Three Amigos, and Coming to America all within a 10 year period, could derail both his own and Eddie Murphy’s careers just a short 6 years later.

Sucker Punch. I've actually watched it more than once, hoping it would be good.

Sucker Punch has to be seen. It's a monumental failure in every way, shape, and form.

Maybe a few sequels to lovable movies/franchises - like Independence Day 2 and Star Trek 5 (that one still gets to me) and I still haven’t rewatched the last two Skywalker Star Wars movies. I’d have to throw the first Hobbitt movie in as well - the CGI was just too much - I was praying for real backgrounds by the time it was over.

As for the boob tube - my #1 is Invasion on Apple TV. I hoped and prayed it would work and it NEVER got better.

This. I gave it two seasons and regret every minute wasted watching it.

Killers of the Flower Moon. I couldn't believe Scorsese and Leo were capable of that boring of a movie

If a movie is not good by the end of the second act, it's generally not going to come back. First acts are pretty easy to get right.
