And yet somehow, some way Beth would survive with just a few scratches and they'd get Kevin Costner back to shoot 5 minutes of film where he wakes up in a hospital having survived as well.

Spoiler alert.
At the end of the final episode, it cuts to the Indian chief from the end of 1883 waking up from a fever dream, having seen all what could come in the future if this path was taken.
He then rises from his teepee and sets about to slaughtering the surviving Duttons so that the events of Yellowstone will never come to pass.

Rip reins her in from time to time. When she said she was going away for awhile, he said if she did, he was gone for good. She stayed.

Sheridan has too many projects going and can't devote enough time to the series (Yellowstone) that makes all of the other ones work.

I would love this. They give Beth free rein to be a huge cu.nt to everyone, especially Jamie. They gloss over the fact that he was there for her when she got pregnant but somehow it’s his fault she had to get a back room abortion and now she can’t have kids.

That would be a hell of a lot better than anything Sheridan has come up with based on his writing the last couple of seasons. The only way he can salvage it for me is if Beth gets a 12 gauge in the face

Personally don’t dislike the last few seasons , yea they aren’t as good as the first couple but still enjoyable versus what’s out there…
I blame both Costner and Sheridan for this disastrous situation on closing it out. Sheridan can’t stay focused and finish it out with all he’s got going and did a huge disservice to the show that made his dreams possible..
Costner has now revitalized his career again due to the show. He should figure a way to close it out, even if it’s a few episode arc
