i dont think Legends of the Fall is particularly depressing.

Dances With Wolves is pretty depressing there towards the end. dude's horse and dog die, and then he leaves his friends who are all about to get wiped out.

still a great movie though.

That Wrestling movie about the Von Erich's and the Leaving Las Vegas alcoholic movie with Cage and Elizabeth Shue was about as depressing as I've ever seen.

Any movie my wife turns on. Nicolas Sparks, usually.

I have to watch 3 Family Guys and a Cheers just to get the taste out of my mouth.

Okay, I was wrong on that movie. I got it mixed up with another, called "Testament." Which I would nominate as a very depressing movie.

A Simple Plan - really just keeps going downhill and has some true emotional gut punches
