Some of the more interesting things I watch are documentaries that I just stumble upon. Two of my favorites are:

In Tune with Time - Watchmaker Masahiro Kikuno (YouTube)

And

Robert Loveless - An American Legend (YouTube)

What are some others along these lines that you've found or enjoyed?

I don't know if these are lesser known, but 2 that I always recommend are:

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia

and

Going Clear (Scientology doc on HBO)

Salesman by the Maysles brothers.

It looks like it was filmed with a budget of about 79 dollars and 63 cents, but I could not stop watching if I had to.

Most documentaries I’ve seen are centered around some conspiracy or dire shite so it’s nice to watch some uplifting ones or just ones about amazing feats sometimes.

Anyone who liked the more popular Meru or Free Solo should definitely check out the Dawn Wall on Netflix. Found his story the most interesting of the three.

Hell I just watched one last night and can't remember the name of it, was on Hulu. Documentary about American hunters going missing in the woods, was pretty good watch. Had some, where a hunter would be within 100 yards of the pack and completely disappear, police called quickly, no signs of anything, FBI investigations, still nothing found. Interesting stories out there.

ETA: I'll probably randomly think about it walking back to my truck in the dark next hunting season.

Missing 411, The Hunted

It's on Youtube also
