Holy shite I don't feel like reading a book on a TV screen.
The Nolans have gotten completely lost in their own fart sniffing.

This... has been a tough episode so far.
Edit: this post was made about half way through the episode. I did like the episode in the end.

Bonus points for this rendition of Heart Shaped Box though

I'm enjoying the episode itself, but yeah, the plot is not advanced at all

I think it’s a good episode but I get why people don’t like it.

Interesting thing about Bernard. He passed the fidelity test. And Delos has no clue about it.

Ok in this hour long episode we got:
-awesome heart shaped box cover
-saw Logan lost it
- MIB + daughter back together
- Ford is behind ghost nation but we still don’t know what they’re going.

So was the Indian the first host to "wake up" I take it?

I think Akecheta is now my favorite character

Jesus Christ, Akecheta has probably been awake for decades in that park. He started walking the Maze immediately after Arnold's death when he walked into the saloon and found Charlie's maze toy. Even if it took him ten years to wake up , that's still over 20 years of consciousness stuck in that hellhole, waking his people up one by one.
So, the Ghost Nation WAS trying to protect hosts that were awakening the whole time. Akecheta considered any awake host to be one of his people he was obligated to protect.
And that episode was utter brilliance. I loved how the Ghost Nation's myths and legends incorporated the realities of their situation. They still stayed culturally who they were, but were awake so they just rolled everything they saw all up into their mythos.
I loved how Akecheta shared the maze with his people and slowly they began to walk the maze and realize the things that they'd done/had done to them and start waking up. The guy who wakes up only to ask to be scalped so THEY don't find the maze in his scalp weirded me out.
The actor who played Akecheta is awesome. The vast majority of his facial acting had to be done through the eyes because of the black paint. The look of fearhate when he stares through Ford's soul when they meet was intense. The anguish when he finds his woman is visceral. He just nailed that role, which he had to in an episode about his backstory and how it weaves into the greater story.
How did they escape the first massacre where Delores kills all the hosts and Arnold, though?

And is also apparently a bad arse warrior. 9 years without a death

Man that episode SUCKED.
The only thing that saved it was Ford on screen near the end.
At least William’s cock riding daughter came back for him.

I quit watching a couple episodes back. The show “lost”’ me.
Very disappointing considering how much I liked season1 and was looking forward to season 2.
Maybe I’m not as smart as I think I am, but the show IMO became all over the place and very hard to follow. Unlike GOT, where you get very invested in the characters making it easier to remember the details and roles of said characters, I don’t feel invested in any of the characters except for Ford and MIB.
I think the show got too wrapped up in AI and being complex and solving a riddle and lost the simple thing that made the concept great ... Robots in an amusement park for humans.

Speaking of, ton of religious/God imagery/dialogue in this episode. I liked it.

Actually a solid episode that did move the plot along some. Ake actor did a phenomenal job. Kohana or whatever was hot as shite too.

We did get some important details. I just wish he told the damn story to the girl in English.
