one of the most underrated george lines (to me) is one that's so minor I've never heard anyone even reference it. It's in the marble rye when he's upstairs waiting on Jerry to send the bread up. The ross's come in and he's real jittery and they say "are you alright george?" and he goes "oh yeah, I'm fine. I just get nervous on weekends". it's just so perfectly george and the delivery is perfect. Cracks me up every time.

Kramer had to yell a racial slur to become unemployable, George was just so pathetic as a character Jason Alexander really never got a chance.

Frank Costanza had the highest % of laughs to screen time in the show. I don’t think he had a science that was not funny.

One of my favorite bloopers is with him and Elaine at the jail after George gets arrested. I guess in the script it just had his line as "what the hell does that mean?", but when he said it you can see Julia Louis Dreyfus raise her eyebrows in astonishment before she starts laughing because Jerry Stiller delivered it so over the top and "Frank-ish" she had no idea it was coming like that. He was a genius

Isn’t that Elaine?

Yeah but George paid for it and Elaine got credit.

George was the show. The show don't work without George.

I think this is true.

The whole cast made a legendary show but if it were just George and Jerry alone, it still would have been successful in it's own right.

George is by far my favorite character. He’s like a case study of someone who has my selfish impulses or neuroses turned up to eleven and not only is amplified but actually acts on it.

The thing about watching curb is I think about what seinfeld would have been with Larry as George instead of Jason Alexander. Jason has great comedic timing and inflection but the character of George is Larry

I love how George is incredulous that Eric the clown had never heard of Bozo

"You've never heard of Bozo the Clown?!!!"

"Fine, go fold your little balloon animals, Eric. Eric? What kind of name is that for a clown?"

Its funny when I look back on Seinfeld, I absolutely hated George when I first starting watching but by the time the series went off the air, he was my favorite character. Close second was his dad.

Big gap down to Jerry and Elaine for me, the former two are much funnier and have better stories.

I don’t know, Elaine with all the excellent Peterman, Putty and other dating and job stuff? She was key to countless of the funniest moments.
