Instead of sex symbol Jodie foster, we will get Jaqueline Bisset providing the steamy sec scenes with Elliot Gould.
They might even spice things up a bit by having them participate in a 3-way with the Ghost of Eartha Kitt.

I’ve never been more angry watching tv in my life. Season 4 was an insult to intellect and I will not be watching anymore unless the reviews are overwhelmingly positive after it finishes. frick everyone who was a part of season 4.

People need to get over the True Detective name just because they loved Season 1 so much.
They're selling you a Fugazi because they slap True Detective on the title and pretending its a Tiffany Diamond. Most disappointing Series. Go watch Twilight Zone.

Jamaica Bay isn't really associated with Jamaica Queens. Hard to tell what type of vibe the show will have just based off "it's set in Jamaica Bay".

Season 1 first half was awesome
Season 1 second half and ending was average at best
Season 2 was utter shite

The story was too convoluted, but some of the episodes were entertaining. And Colin Farrell was great. It's still far better than season 4. I just couldn't believe how boring that season was.

Sheeeeeeit. The Secret Fate of All Life (Reggie Ledoux bust) was in the second half of S1. One of the best episodes in the history of TV.
The hate that the ending of S1 gets on this board has gotten comical. Like it's some cliche thing to do now. There is nothing other than someone just being disappointed in the ending that could fall under "average at best." The second half doesn't have a single episode rated lower than 9.2 on IMDB.
People will be on here saying S1 ending was bad but also be on here recommending The Real Housewives of Salt Lake and Yellowstone.
