If you are sitting around nitpicking this show, then you have missed out on the whole purpose of the last 6 episodes. It's been an amazing ride.
Dissecting it to fit some personal narrative just seems senseless. TV like this just doesn't come around often, too belabor this ridiculous point(s) is just infantile.

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned that it could have been more than a coincidence that Marty bought a cell phone at the store that the former prost works at. Knowing that Marty is former murder police, a private investigator, etc. it would seem more than possible that he would know how to track her down. Easy.
