it’s so frustratingly bad and full of forced throwbacks and references to S1 for no reason
like someone else said, every time something cool or cliffhangery happens somehow they just move past it and never reference it again which just makes the paranormal parts of the show laughable

Lol I almost made a thread about this fricking bullshite after watching 9 episodes of season 1 this weekend, specifically to talk about how uncreative and shitty this show runner was shoe-horning in stuff from season 1 in the most retarded way possible. The only thing that was more retarded than this was the (literal) clown car ending

I actually enjoyed season 2. Might be the only person that does but it’s the second best season (doubling down). Season 3 had great acting but man it was slow and the whole story was meh.

I watched it.
I wanted it to be good because of the setting, which I though was cool.
I can't stand Jodie Foster and stupid accents, even though I had Silence of the Lambs on my hotel last night.
I thought I was gonna hate the tattooed chick a lot, but Jodie took all of my hate with her tough guy schtik. I'm pretty sure they gave her an Emmy for that shitty performance.
Once they tried to steal shite from S1 I was out and just finished it to finish it.

Yep.
You could tell the show-runner writer was female before I even looked it up to confirm. The show had a clean feminist bent to it. The men at the lab were made to look like complete goofballs, made to strip, and run on the ice with their shriveled winers out by the female cleaning staff. The women got away with literal murder, well...just because.... AND the only sex scenes in the show were scenes NO ONE wanted to see.
We went from this iconic scene in Season 1
...to the Indian-cop pounding some nerd and stealing his Spongebob toothbursh, and Jodie Foster pretending to enjoy sex with another goober.

I didn’t even finish S4, which is very unlike me. And it wasn’t for the reasons others have, it was just jumping the shark. S2 ended up going nowhere.
Everyone knows S1, but I thought S3 was pretty good also.
