He barked when Daryl told him to, and stopped when told to shush. Dog is a good dog.

Just watched it. That graveyard fight scene in the fog was one of the best scenes ever on this show, at least of the last few seasons.

Meh Maggie makes sense since it's a major comic line. My guess is Daryl will take over unless Maggie comes back. In the previews we see Daryl being the one meeting Alpha at the gates. Tara will probably die of being annyoing

Re: the whisperers

If I had to wear dead skin suits to survive and hang around rotting corpses all day, I think I’d probably check out.

Flash back episode should show Morgan arriving with his people, and hen his people killing half of Alexandria and branding Michonne and Daryl

yes there are a couple of mysteries to uncover
-the brands/scars on michonne & darryl
-the nature of the conflict between hilltop & alexandria and also between michonne and maggie
-the whereabouts of heath (if he's still a viable character)
-the status of oceanside
-the resolution of the the remaining saviors after the bridge explosion

the trailer shows michonne with her pre-time jump dreads, so there is going to be a flashback. i cant imagine that the reveal of the conflict is going to be worth the drawn-out drama, but we will see. michonne is a pretty mediocre lead character, they've done a shite job in making her attitude and actions plausible.

the morgan thing while in jest is as believeable as anything else

just a guess but i'm thinking dwight is written out. his story is over (darryl kinda takes his narrative).

of the "old" characters left, i guess aaron will be the one next to step up. he's actually likeable and makes semi-sane decisions, unlike many. i also did like that they made darryl something other than a greasy mute the past two eps...he was great when he was a scout early in the run

i wouldnt mind at all if it became the darryl and carol show

Hardwick had a weird shout out to Lauren Cohan on TD last night

The reason it was weird was because Hardwick screwed up. He tried acting like that was the first he was hearing of Cohan being out for rest of season. As soon as he said it I was thinking he was full of shite, and that’s the kind of garbage that made me only watch the last couple minutes of that show for previews now. He must’ve read people calling him out because he tried changing what he meant immediately when they came back from commercial.

I think it was incredibly dumb to hold off on showing what happened between the communities. They are trying to build this tension while skipping over the most interesting part of that story.

I agree about it being annoying to make Tara a leader. What has this show done with that character to make us think she can lead? I was on board with Michonne being a leader. Then, the show makes her exactly the opposite of the type of leader character I thought Michonne would be.

I unfortunately had the Jesus death spoiled for me before I watched the episode. That sucks because it would have been an amazing surprise, and incredibly cool death scene.

That ain't no way to be, son. You have to give people numerous chances to kill you, and you still can't kill them. You have to do the right thing by handcuffing them to a car door to die of exposure or chew their own arms off and bleed to death.

FTWD returns next April. I was hoping it would be cancelled, but I guess they'll get to see how stupid life can be under Morgan's unmedicated leadership. I came back to it after mom and son died, but it's still just too stupid.

Whatever happened has to deal with Michonne thinking it was best for everyone, while at the same time producing the scars. She told Carol that they were "alive to hate me" or something like that, so it has to be a disease. The scars, though they look nothing like kidney scars, might be presented as such just because it's easier for the audience to get it.

Another poster was right in saying that a slave brand would be conspicuous, not hidden in the small of the back. Although, honestly, I could see them go that route with all of the other SJW shite they're weaving in. Fearing new people because of disease makes sense too.

I'll learn to live with the chick-ocracy, which will now include Hilltop and others. It's a show, half of which airs opposite Sunday night NFL, so frick it. Personally, I think the world would go way more road warrior and most women would constantly fear for their lives, but whatever. If the women take it in stupid directions, the audience can just walk away. I've more than gotten my money's worth up to this point.

that would make sense, and perhaps the outbreak was at alexandria and michonne severed ties to protect hilltop. still not worth the drama, but plausible

also plausible, as they telegraph everything else, it may have been hepatitis or something, resulting in several renal surgeries. also dumb, but makes sense

all that can be said for certain is that the scars were not self-inflicted

Re: Tara - without a doubt the least interesting and poorly acted character on TWD. How does she continue to gain weight and athletically devolve in a world where food is sparse and you’re constantly fighting people/walkers? Also, seems way too desperate to appear “hip” and it comes off as desperate. She doesn’t seem very committed to her role.

Other than that, I enjoyed the episode. Good pace and reveal of whisperers. However, Negans escape seems like lazy writing, but the door could have been intentionally left unlocked for reason. We shall see.
