With no gus, mike, nacho, the Salamanca's etc it just hasn't been the same the last few eps.

At least now he's desperate and on the run. Hope it's a good finale.

Was it ever said who finished the lab after Werner Ziegler?

Gabe doesn't finish it.

Gale ordered all the equipment for the meth making, and is setting it up when Walt hooks up w/ Gus. I don't think it was perfectly clear how far along the construction was when Mike sent Werner's guys home.

Jeffy is Kim's neer-do-well idiot brother/half-brother.

First thing I noticed about Jeffy (the original actor) was the Albuquerque Isotopes air freshener hanging on the rearview mirror of his taxi. Kim had one of those at one of her PD cases. Thought there might be a connection with that.

However, it would be very weird for her to never mention her idiot brother living in the same city as her during the first few seasons of BCS.

Do you guys think Gene's scenes will move to color at some point?

I'm guessing the last episode is in color. Because Gene is dead. The black-and-white imagery wasn't for the timeline, it was for the boring Gene persona (and Kim's boring FL existence). His cover is blown and now he's on the run. He's just Jimmy now. And Jimmy is in color. (The Saul persona is dead too, even if there will be references to Saul Goodman in the last episode.)

Like I said, that would be pretty confusing, especially for a finale. But what do I know.

I think Jimmy tries to reconnect with Kim (he has all the money and diamonds he’s saving) and she turns him down. Then he turns himself in to get her approval. It’s hard for me to see him get killed off as it doesn’t fit with his story arc. Walt was on a murder spree and had it coming. Jimmy is more of a weasel who slips in and out of things. He end up doing scams behind bars or something…….. But I’m probably wrong.

I wonder if we ever get an answer on the gene scene from I THINK was in season 5 in the mall. He's made by Jeff, then he goes to the food court and uses a pay phone to call the vacuum. He places the order. The vacuum guy is like "are you sure? The price is double and there's no backing out once you say yes..." and Gene looks out into the food court and sees somethign or someone then cancels the order.

To my knowledge we never got any resolution on that did we? I guess at the time I assunmed kim would be the only thing to make him react in that way but obviously we know now that couldn't be it.

Maybe he saw the clothes store they rob later and came up with his mutually assured destruction plan.

I took him hanging up on vacuum guy as a realization of just handling it himself and letting Saul make a return.

I bet he calls in the finale to run and gets news that the guy is dead and panics.

Everything that happened with Jeff in the past few episodes was the resolution.

Exactly how would Gene/Saul being on the run in color be confusing?

The actor who played the vacuum guy died so I hope they work that into the finale. Like Gene calls and it's the vacuum guy's daughter who had no clue what her dad was doing on the side.

Female voice-"Hmmmm. I'm not seeing that particular part as being available. Are you sure on the model number?"

Not sure if this has been discussed, but rewatching breaking bad right now. The tequila or whatever that gus used to poison the cartel is the same bottle that jimmy and kim got when they were con men.

Only because they’ve established what the colors mean thus far, and to change that in the last episode would be weird and uncharacteristic.

That being said, I’m not going to Ham it up if it happens.

Kim doesn't do time, but she ends up back in ABQ working as a counselor or something for the indigent trying to redeem herself for her past behavior.

There's nothing in ABQ for her. And there are indigent folks everywhere. She's come to grips with what she did but would probably start fresh somewhere other than ABQ.

I think he dies and it fades to color.

In a country of 300 million people, you mean to tell me that Saul just happens to run in to Jeffie, Kim's half-brother, in Omaha in a mall???

I was mostly joking, but you do realize that everything these characters say or do has been storyboarded, scripted, reviewed and acted out beforehand? There are no coincidences in this world we're allowed to peak into.

Not that it proves anything, but I don't ever recall Kim mentioning her family, and our only reference to her mother is via flashback sequences. I am not, like some of our posters, defending this hill to the death. I'm just saying it could happen, and if it did it would close the circle.

ETA - lz2112 pointed out that Kim mentioned her dad and their favorite movie, Ice Station Zebra. Barring additional corrections, I don't recall Kim mentioning her mother or any siblings.

All's good, man.
