Kim is from Nebraska. Which is why I think Jimmy went there, at least subconsciously.

Only because they’ve established what the colors mean thus far, and to change that in the last episode would be weird and uncharacteristic

Got no idea where it’s ending….but expect a big surprise or change.
In breaking bad at least Walt had was the Anti hero. But jimmy robbing terminal cancer nice guys doesn’t add up.

Yes you are correct in that.
However, while Burnett might not be Kim's mom, I find it interesting that they mention specifically that Kim is from Nebraska, have Jimmy end up there, and show her mom this season for the first time (I think) as a con artist.

It's been noted in other places online that the cancer guy's bank statement showing $767k and change was the same amount Walt claimed he needed to make sure his family was taken care of.
What that could mean? Guys that try to get that amount by nefarious means die? Who knows.
I was kind of hoping Burnett would be Kim's mom but I don't think that is the case. She grew up in Red Cloud Nebraska supposedly, a tiny town of 1100 people hours away from Omaha. (The scenes of her with her mom don't really match a town that small though) While obviously she could have moved to Omaha in the ensuing years, it seems a bit too unlikely. And since Kim was married to Jimmy, one would think she and Jeffy would know him on sight.
Of course Kim never mentions her mom so are they estranged or is she dead? I don't recall it ever being said.
It could be said Burnett does resemble a much older version of Kim's mom as they both have a longer face, just like the mom and Kim resemble each other like a mother/daughter might.

BCS is no near the cultural phenomenon that BB was. It's just as great in its own right, but BB was another level in the mainstream.

Someone earlier mentioned that Odenkirk says that wasn’t the first time we see Burnett, was there some old woman on a scooter in the background when Saul first met Jeffie in S5?
Is that what he saw while on the phone with the vacuum guy that made him change his mind?

I remember seeing that but can't find it now.
Didn't he say we've seen her "character" before? If so, the most obvious would be Kim's mom. Being obvious means that's likely not it however with this show.

A little off topic but now that BCS is about to be wrapped up it looks like Vince Gilligan has another series coming up soon. From what little description they give it almost sounds like his version of the Twilight Zone or X-Files though it sounds like it won't have any sci-fi in it.

I always thought black/white & color was just used to show the different timelines.
Post BB is black/white & anything before then is in color.
The color reflected in his glasses in the very first episode when gene was watching the recording of Saul Goodman ads.
