I also think it is a fair question. And as someone noted above, it ain’t the first time that Lalo got the drop on Mike.

Gus ordered Mike to pull all the protection guys except those guarding him and the laundry. Mike refused to pull the guys guarding his granddaughter & DIL but obviously not to pulling the guys off of Kim & Saul.

Everyones knows he’s around, they just don’t know where and has everyone spooked

Here are several things that really must be dealt with in five episodes:
1. The black book. Kim has seen it. They didn't let her see it for nothing. This includes the vacuum guy's card (although I don't think she's getting vacuumed).
2. The Sandpiper money. How much does Saul get, what does he do with it, and does Kim get any of it.
3. Don Eladio's people are gonna come looking for Lalo. There is a loose end here. The Salamancas aren't gonna sleep on this. Does the video surface?
4. The final transformation into Saul Goodman. The inflatable statue of liberty (more Betsy Kettleman, please) and the gawdy office with cash in the walls. One thing we know is that Saul is still working for the cartel in BB. Where and how does he make that money?
5. Kim's fate.
6. Gene.

Do we get any long episodes in the final 5? Or are they all normal run time?

That really does seem like a lot to cover in a short amount of time.. Will be interesting to watch everything unfold..

The only one who knows that Lalo was alive is Hector and he can't speak. He can't write. He can't initiate a conversation.
The twins think he is dead. Eladio thinks he is dead. There are no questions to be made to prompt a "ding". The twins would need a reason to visit.
I think this is tied up personally.
Edit: I suppose he can ding his way through the alphabet but still...somebody has to visit. Could be possible.

I think Saul is prompted to give himself so much exposure that he feels it gives him security.
What brings more eyes? 1. Lawyer found in ditch shot to death. 2. "Morris Bart found shot to death."
I think Saul thinks his exposure/public image gives him security, while simultaneously driving Kim away (final nail).

Yeah I think he is going to see how messed up she is and intentionally push her away. He’ll blame himself because he brought Lalo into their lives

quote:It just dawned on me that one scenario that could be in play would be for Saul to think the love of his life was being vacuumed but Mike and/or Gus take her out in a heart wrenching manner instead. That way Saul can move on the his BB self thinking she is safe but we know she was eliminated to resolve loose ends with Gus.
(although I don't think she's getting vacuumed).

people thinking Gus wants Kim dead, why?
There's no reason. Saul knows everything about him Kim does.

Can we take a moment and acknowledge Lyle as the GOAT employee?
Dude definitely earned his own franchise.

You find a fast food employee like Lyle, you better put that sucker on salary and dedicate a bathroom in his honor.

Kim knows, or will know from his address and the lookalike, who Gus is.
Saul doesn't.
