now this is how you trailer 
Am I the only one who doesn't think the movie is gonna be as whimsical as this trailer? I think it's gonna have a much serious tone. FWIW I'm not familiar with the director.

He's from New Zealand. He's known for directing comedies -- he directed episodes of Flight of the Conchords and The Inbetweeners. He made a really funny movie What We Do In the Shadows a couple of years ago, which is about a bunch of vampires living in a house in New Zealand.
He tends to work with the same actors, so I kinda half expect Jemaine, Bret or Murray to show up in Thor.

He was also Hal Jordan's sidekick Pie Face in the Green Lantern movie. He doesn't talk about that much.

I'm with you on that. I think they will have quite a few comic relief moments, but I think it will still have a serious tone.

It would make a lot of sense if she wins in this and becomes Death itself....aka the thing that drives Thanos to assemble the gauntlet and conquer the universe.

He does say "To Court Death" in the Avengers teaser I'm pretty sure.
I mean they could take this a bunch of ways....
Death is a thing, but it needs a "host" - Hela
