What movies do you plan on making with AI?

“Hollywood” is salivating over the potential of giving you this slop and making you pay for shite with zero art or human existence behind it so they never have to pay for another actor, writer or director again.
This and everything else AI created is absolute garbage and the latest snake oil being sold to you by the tech companies as the future of the world.
Big art will collapse and we will get more home made stuff with better artistry behind it and infinite reach on the internet.
Most people will want authenticity.

Yeah, I think this is my criticism of AI. Basically, isn’t it always some version of something else
Not that it was entirely uninteresting but I looked like a combo of Dune, Rebel Moon, LotR, and Star Wars.

I’m for anything that gets rid of Hollywood.
Why even be on the M/TV board?
I have plenty of complaints about the leftwing bent and overindulgence of Hollywood today but I still enjoy the art and human condition of movies and TV.

Give it another 5-10 years.
Just an AI version of Human Centipede.
But hey - enjoy this dumb fricking trailer and be impressed. I’m not.

Some kid in his basement is going to make the Star Wars sequel trilogy we all deserved

Funny how the little girl leads the entire thing and the boy sits at the back cautious and feminine. AI is programmed will mudslop biases.

I mean it's ok, but 80% of the trailer is just a bunch of people looking like they have to poop hard.

Ones that interest me.

This is where they're going to make money.
They're going to make people create their own content with established IP that you have to pay a fee for. So instead of paying $10+ at a theatre that studios have to split, you'll pay $5 for your AI movie in that IP that has $0 production costs for the studio.
Then when the actors get licensed, you'll be able to pay an upcharge for specific actors to play certain roles.
I imagine once they create a hub where the content can be created and can't be shared this will be deployed heavily.

Music artists as well.
So long as AI doesn’t replace classically trained musicians.

Justine Bateman has been warning of this for years and pushed for SAG/AFTRA to negotiate a better deal on this in the last strike (it got something, but it wasn'ta great deal).

It’s obviously AI because the two main characters are both white.
This is what Hollywood is most worried about.

Twenty years from now, you will be able to interact with your AI...
"Show me a fantasy movie set in the Tolkien universe. Make the main character a young Aragorn. Be as loyal to source material as possible. Make it rated R."
Rendering. The film will be available in 27 minutes.

That depends on how creative you are or how specific you want content to be.

Because it might come up with something original?
