Just finished it and loved the series, can't wait for more. If I had any complaint it would be the pace of the final episode though.

I played the game. Awesome. Just started ep. 3. So far it's really good. Pretty close to the game. Haven't seen what other posters have commented on.

Pretty sure the author of the books disavows the games.

Just finished the full 8.

Hooked. Very well done on all the characters.

Minus the red hair of course. Lol.

Just finished. Absolutely loved it, I’m feigning for a second season. I need Yen in my life, but want more Triss next season.

Critics are losers, this was a damn good first season. My only complaint is that it actually needed more Geralt, the Ciri story and scenes could’ve been trimmed down to less.

I’m in episode 6 and they are going for the dragon.

I’m loving the show but there are some clear story telling issues. It was not clear at all when they were switching timelines until much later. Also, the names are hard to follow. I’m still not sure what’s going on other than Geralt and Yen have their own personal stories that have no real complexity to it but still enjoyable. Ciri or whatever the princesses name is, I just don’t know what’s going on and who the black army is.

Played the games, haven't read the books though i will soon.

Loved it. Yen is a smoke show and would keep me watching all by herself. Cavill nails Geralt. Love his dynamics with Roach and Dandelion / Jaskier.

Need more Ciri but hopefully that will come.

Just watched the first one.

Only played Wild Hunt, but played like 21 DAYS of playtime on it (yes days) I was laid off at the time.

Very, very pleasantly surprised, and the wife liked it. Can't wait to binge the rest during the break.

As everyone has already set, Cavil's voice and mannerisms are spot on, and that was the most important part.

Just finished. Inject that 2nd season right into my veins.

*spoilers*

Great ending to the season. Yennefer unleashing pure hot fiya on to Nilfgaards with the flames avoiding Tissaia was cool af. Glad we got to see some of her true potential.

Ciri and Geralt meeting at the end was perfect. Means we're probably going straight to Kaer Morhen in season 2

I just hope that they don't rush anything. There's so much content that they can use.

I read where season one is an adaptation of the short stories that were part of the Sword of Destiny collection and that season two will begin to adapt the actual novels.

I wonder if they will recast Ciri at some point? I understand shes supposed to be super young at this point but if they continue with the scrambled timelines then they would need someone older no?

The timelines converge in episode 8. I highly doubt they continue that narration trend in season 2.

Hope Season 2 has some good monster of the week type episodes. I know they had to get a lot of exposition and background out of the way this season, but it would be great to get some solid pure world exploring episodes

It’s probably the best video game adaptation I’ve ever seen.

It’s amazing how far giving a frick about the source material will take you. Cavill kills it as Gerald. He’s got the voice down and everything.

I’m enjoying it. Decent action. They had a lot of exposition to hammer through early but I’m excited to see where it goes. I’m 3 in.

Entertaining through two episodes. That being said, the shite doesn’t make a lick of sense.

I hate to break it to you but The Witcher was a book series long before it was ever adapted into a video game.
