It looks about as good as the 90s Hercules and Xenia shows. The choppy, crappy editing drives me crazy. Just looks cheap all around.
You're pretty much right.
Although the acting is pretty terrible, the show does look good.
Except for a decent set of tits here and there, it's a pretty boring series. If there's a second season, I'm not watching it.
Oh and superman is pretty bad in this fricking show too. Always talking through his teeth, it's annoying.

People keep saying this, and I guess I just don't understand it. It's not a lineup of Jimmy Stewarts, but there are a ton of seasoned veterans playing slightly cartoonish roles. There's no "My Left Footing" Calanthe, she is literally a emotionally driven warrior queen.

Yea I'm not getting the "acting is bad" arguments. I thought overall it was solid. I thought all of the main characters absolutely nailed their roles outside of probably Triss.
Some of the side characters aren't stellar, but they generally aren't in most shows.

I hear ya but you can have good acting in these cartoonish fantasy driven roles. We've seen it in other shows and movies.
I've liked Henry Cavill for instance in other things but it could be that he has a very narrow range and this role exceeds it. He's terrible in this.

Wait, you think Geralt is bad? We do not agree on that, at all. It is one of the more fateful representations of a character I've seen.

Man you guys take this shite too seriously.
I wouldn't know if he's a "bad geralt" or not but if henry cavill is portraying him the way he actually is in some video game or book or whatever, then to me, geralt is just a shitty character all the way around. Because he's a frickin' bore to watch in the show.

Well Witchers are supposed to be unemotional. He nails the character though based on the games and books.
