The talking dead said Feb. 14th.

Will the boss lady be on board when Rick comes back and wants to hunt down the wolves?

To be fair, I've hated Carl since the beginning though. So my harshness is nothing new. And I thought it was Enid that gave him pause at first, but when the dude lunged and tried to take the gun from him, Carl (as they've painted him to this point) would've not hesitated to put him down to protect himself and his family/friends. So him not doing it pissed me off. I mean shite, he already had shot the dude once.

I could have swore he shot him and killed him during the tug of war over the gun. What did I miss?

I think she will.

She already sided with Rick on several other things. And I think it had to be eye-opening as hell for her (and everyone else there), and she/they will realize the true dangers that exist outside of the walls.

IMO there is an outside chance that the people there could blame Rick for this somewhat ("Nothing like this ever happened until you showed up!"), but I don't think that will happen. Or if so, it will get shut down with the quickness by Rick/Deanna.

Pretty sure he just yanked back and kept the gun, and the dude was just laying there. After the initial shot (in the leg), no other shots were fired.

There was an additional shot fired during the scrum for the gun

I thought the gun went off during the struggle too, killing the wolf. But I don't recall a head shot, so I kept waiting for him to turn into a walker, especially when Carl looked out the kitchen window at him.

Forbes: Enid is a spy for the Wolves

quote:

But the most interesting aspect of the episode is something that many viewers seem like they’re missing, the fact that Enid has been a spy for the Wolves from the beginning.

Some seemed to make this connection, but right now it’s more of a theory than a fact, based on a rogue line of dialogue or a gut feeling. In fact, I think there are a lot more clues than people think which pretty clearly prove Enid was a spy, even if the show didn’t feel like spelling it out. No, the episode didn’t end with Enid pulling a knife on Carl or kidnapping Judith, but I still think the proof is there all the same.

quote:

In my eyes, Enid was clearly a spy, and I’m kind of glad the episode didn’t spell it out for everyone. But because they didn’t, I think a lot of people missed both small and large clues about her role in what happened that day. What’s unclear now is if the Wolves have taken enough losses to be considered neutered, or if we will see them return at some point in greater numbers with Enid in their ranks. Pretty amazing episode all around though.

Great read.

It all makes sense, the intro, climbing the walls and going into the woods many times, the perfect timing the Wolves strike had, her "slip" saying "we", JSS makes perfect sense now and why she left it for Carl. She did it/caused it, but, Just Survive Somehow and she did what she had to do.

Yep, I noticed that as well and thought she was about to put a knife in Carl's back.

But then again she could have meant "we" as in people, since she doesn't really think of herself as part of Alexandria. It's just a place for her to stay until she moves on.

She's reached the point where she'd kill her own son if Rick said to do it.

When Gabriel asked him where he learned to fight with it, Morgan told him a cheese/maker taught him. I think it'll be revealed with a backstory this season as TTD has said as much.

Hmmm, I guess I must have missed that. I must've been too busy yelling at Carl.

I immediately took "we" to mean the wolves, but I think someone earlier in this thread said she could have been talking about how she and Carl ("we") were both able to sneak in and out of the gates unnoticed. (I may have heard that on The Talking Dead, so apologies for bringing that up in this thread.)

I guess we'll find out in a few weeks. The flashbacks to the death of her parents and her arrival at Alexandria could have definitely left out a period of time when she was with the wolves.

Aren't the "W"s usually carved into the members' foreheads? If she was part of the wolves, the fact that Enid was not marked with a carved W would mean that the wolves planned to use her as a plant from the time she was adopted into their clan.

No. Not in my opinion. The wolves found out about the details of Alexandria from Aaron's bag that he dropped when he and Daryl were nearly caught on their run. The photos- the maps- info- it was all in the bag. No reason to show this if Enid was their source.

Enid's reference to "we" and the walls were about her and Carl's ability to go in and out without detection. He reasons now for disappearing have to do with her personal code of "just survive somehow". Getting close to people makes it hard to survive in her mindset. That's been her issue all along. It's why she leaves to go wander. It's why she's hesitant to get close to Carl. It's not because she's a Wolf. Every wolf is clearly marked.
