They hacked up the ones that were too far gone and were going to turn and captured the ones they could. They have to replace their fallen members somehow. It seems that Morgan was once part if their clan but left when they became more barbaric.

The fat chick Carol left the gun with in the armory was walking around outside after everything had cooled down.

Carol was awesome but I question her shooting the guy Morgan had tied up. They needed a Wolf taken alive so they could try and force information out of them.
As it stands, Alexandria isn't going to know any more about the Wolves after the attack than they did before it.

I'm still a little confused about the semi.
Why was there a zombie in the cab?
Is the trailer full of zombies? Wasn't this one of the trucks filled with disco-zombies from the shopping center?

I can't remember how decayed that one was...is it possible that he was alive driving the truck towards the fence and was shot by Spencer from the tower, then "turned" before Spencer made it to the cab and opened the door?
Shane turned rather quickly, and others have too.

I assume so since we have seen them do it before and its kinda their "thing".

Sorry if this has been discussed but how were the parents so naive when working on their car in the beginning of the episode? Surely they knew the dangers of the walkers. Just seemed odd that they would be killed so easily.
Maybe they have been holed up the whole time and didn't understand the walkers??
Awesome episode.

I don't think Enid took Judith.
I think the scene with the timer was used to emphasize just how long it can take for STHF in the apocalypse (45 min)
I think Rick and company are trying to get the walkers back on the road once the horn stopped blowing.
I always thought the wolves were the former members of Alexandria that were exiled and also others that Alexandria didn't accept.

fricking awesome episode last night.
Agreed

Then I yelled out "OH shite!" and was wide awake for the rest of the episode. That shite caught me WAY off guard.
Agreed (though I was wide awake at the start)

I fricking hate Carl so fricking much. There is not a single reason he shouldn't have killed that dude he shot in the leg. Especially after the dude feigns pussification and then lunges at Carl's gun. Should've ended him right then and there. And we've seen Carl several times before be all like "Kill them all, and they deserve to die" and have no problem doing what's necessary, yet he lets this a-hole live? frick you, Carl..I hope you die a slow and agonizing death.
I think you're being a little too harsh on our baw Carl here. I think he talks a big game but is slow to back it up (like most teenagers do) and while he can off a walker with no problem, the idea of killing a person pleading for their life caused him to pause. Also, with Enid behind him, he could have paused to not freak her out, since she said that he scares her. Regardless, CORAL is a badass, or at least better than what he used to be.

Am I the only one who absolutely hates Morgan's new bo staff skillz? I mean seriously, it's a little stupid that he's all of a sudden some jedi ninja master. And I think the thing that pisses me off the most about it is when he continually stabs people in the head with a DULL frickING BO STAFF. It's not fricking sharpened or anything, yet he's offing walkers and humans alike like he's weilding a fricking Hattori Hanzo sword.
You are probably the only one. His staff skills are awesome (no homo) and seeing him go all Jedi on some fools makes me happy. With his wife and son dead, and hours upon hours of free time (and tons of practice walkers out there), it's not unbelievable that he could become good enough with a bo staff to do some serious damage. Especially since the majority of his opponents are untrained and swinging for the fences.
And maybe one side of the staff is a little pointy-er than the the other?
quote:
Carol stepping up and being a badass was cool. I loved how she just nonchalantly kept shooting and stabbing people like it was NBD
Punisher/Rambo Carol. However, we may be seeing the slow end of her as she just seems too far gone.
quote:
Also, why were some taking prisoners while others were literally chopping bodies into pieces?
Maybe they are cannibals? Maybe they just love torturing people? We did see that one girl tied up to the tree while walkers had ripped her apart (the one Darryl and Aaron found). Clear they are completely insane so maybe they just chop them up to satisfy their bloodlust? I dunno.
quote:
It's a good thing that 18-wheeler crashed, otherwise Rick and company would have no idea what happened and would waltz back to Alexadria and stumble upon a massacre.
Just confirms Rick's point that everyone needs to be armed. Deanna about to get the boot, along with her worthless son.

Nah, that would take away from the importance of the gay guy losing his bag with all of the photos and info on Alexandria. That's how they learned about the town.

The same way so many people get killed in these situations. The parents underestimated the walkers and allowed themselves to be ganged up on while they were working on the car. When they tried to fight it was too late.
Enid served as lookout and told her parents she saw them coming (from the front) but her parents didn't seem to care. But then the walkers appeared from the side and it was too late.

Why would she take Judith?
It's not like she thinks that the outside world is any safer. She just doesn't think that Alexandria is the safe haven that it's supposed to be.
And I doubt that the Wolves are looking to take in babies.

To be fair, I've hated Carl since the beginning though. So my harshness is nothing new. And I thought it was Enid that gave him pause at first, but when the dude lunged and tried to take the gun from him, Carl (as they've painted him to this point) would've not hesitated to put him down to protect himself and his family/friends. So him not doing it pissed me off. I mean shite, he already had shot the dude once.

And maybe one side of the staff is a little pointy-er than the the other? , walker heads are softer so I guess he could use enough force to penetrate the skull.
It's just so weird and random, the bo staff. And Morgan has taken such an odd path in the series, for him to all of a sudden now be fricking Donatello just seems out of place to me.
And don't get me wrong, I like Morgan...I'm talking specifically about the bo staff. And of course he would've had plenty of time to practice and get pretty good with it, but practicing against walkers and using it against humans are two completely different things.
This is more of just a nitpicky gripe about Morgan. But between the bo staff and his newfound willingness to stubbornly save people (not worth saving), he's grating on me a bit. Maybe he will be the Dale/Herschel replacement in the morality department.

Punisher/Rambo Carol. However, we may be seeing the slow end of her as she just seems too far gone.
I don't know...unless you know something I don't, I think her character has become molded to fit in this ZA world. But I also think she has the ability to stay grounded if she needs to...like with Tyrese and the girls last season, or with the kids in Alexandria even. Sure, she's playing everyone there (or was up until last night), but there were times when you could see some heart in her. Even last night when she tells that kid to get over his dad's death and move on, that was her reaching out to him and trying to help, just in her own, weird matter-of-fact way.
quote:
Just confirms Rick's point that everyone needs to be armed. Deanna about to get the boot, along with her worthless son.
I don't know about the boot because she's been backing Rick's decisions and thought processes now. And I think she's a leader for Alexandria in name only, and she knows that...which is why she latches onto Rick's decisions (like killing ole boy, his walker plan, etc.).
And all this time, she's also had Maggie in her ear, and Maggie trusts Rick. So Deanna is good for now, assuming she's all in on team Rick (which she should be at this point). Now, her son is still a gaping pussy, and he could throw a wrench into the mix. But I think Deanna herself is good to go with whatever the hell Rick wants her to do. We shall see.
BTW, how many episodes are there this season/half season? I have a feeling this season is gonna end WAAAAY too quickly for me, especially if they keep up this level of quality.

8 episodes total with the last one on November 29, 2015
Season will resume in 2016. Unsure when but I'm guessing early February?

I think Morgan alluded to someone teaching him, and last night he said something about a "cheesemaker". I wonder if/when we'll get a flashback to what happened to him after Rick left him in his kind of crazy state to make him the great believer of peace and second chances he seems to be now.

Also, do zombies sleep now?
Enid came across one that she essentially woke up before she slept in that car

There was also one using its hands in a pretty non-zombie-like way. Like he was reaching into a bag of chips or something. It just looked off for some reason.
