List was better than I thought it would be but Thanos needs to be moved up a bit. Not sure if I would put The Butcher that high. Hell not sure I would even call him the villain. Being a patriot who is ready to throw down for the beliefs ain’t the same as someone who just wants chaos for the sake of or someone who literally wants to and then does and then wants to again wipe out half the living species in the universe.

Alonzo Harris (Training Day), Frank Costello (The Departed), Calvin Candie (Django Unchained) & Regina George (Mean Girls) all deserve consideration as replacements.

But Thanos is the only one who actually won so hard that they had to go break physics to beat him. He's at the very least #3.
I probably wouldn't have Magneto or Armitage on the list. I'd add one of Sarumon or Sauron or Gollum. No LOTR represented is a miss as well.
ETA: I'm also taking off Butcher. That movie sucks.

Plainview is villainous but I don’t think he was a villain. Save for HW, there are no good people in There Will Be Blood. Eli is almost as bad as Daniel and bullies those around him just as much, he’s just a bigger pussy than Daniel is.
