The “Stonehenge” gag from Spinal Tap is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.

I’ve never laughed so hard as I did when I noticed that thing being lowered in the background And then the shocked face, followed by the midgets coming out sent me into what I can only imagine a heart attack feels like. Just perfection when paired with the song and dramatic lyrics.
“No one knows who they were, or what they were doing…. but their legacy remains” holy shite

All-time classic bit of dialogue.

David St. Hubbins: I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem *may* have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being *crushed* by a *dwarf*. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object.

Ian Faith: I really think you're just making much too big a thing out of it.

Derek Smalls: Making a big thing out of it would have been a good idea.

It's like, how much more black could this be?

And the answer is... none. None more black.

I've ruined every trip to NYC. I always go to Greenwich Village looking for the Electric Banana even though I was told not to. Can't help myself.

Tap always knocked me out with their exuberance, raw power...and punctuality.

A work of brilliance, the entire thing.

The golden era Simpson's episode featuring Spinal Tap is a must watch too, it's Tap gags are every single bit as brilliant as the movie.

We're only 10 days away from Nigel Tufnel Day.

Not the original...since this will only be 11/11 instead of the original 11/11/11. But, still.

A contractor can respect that the height provided on the sketch was in fact 18".

The Boston gig has been cancelled...

What?

Yeah. I wouldn't worry about it though, it's not a big college town.
