Spinal Tap is a top 5 comedy ever made (maybe top 3) and i'll stand by that forever. There is nothing more original and more satirically accurate and of high quality than the film.
It basically invented an entire genre, and may be the most quotable and best written comedy.
It's on par with Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein as the best comedies ever made. They all should have been nominated for Oscars.
