while seriously injured. finn lands one lucky shot and then he just ends it.

Yeah. Just because he doesn't get killed with the 1st swing of the lightsaber does not mean he was holding his own or there was some back and forth during the "fight".

That's like saying Apollo Creed held his own with Ivan Drago.

Okay. If toying with someone involves getting saber'd in the arm, then sure.

If he's been training with a lightsaber for some time, and has the ability to stop lasers mid-air, then his fight with Finn lasted too long.

I know - Kylo was injured. But if he has the power to Force throw Rey 30 yards, and his mission is to claim Anakin's lightsaber, then he should've been able to kill Finn with the quickness.

He could have. It was pretty clear that he didn't want to.

After Finn got the lucky hit in, Kylo ended it "with a quickness".

Kylo only uses really straight forward, well telegraphed swings until he gets hit. He was clearly just fricking around with Finn. He thought Rey was unconscious and he wasn't afraid of some turncoat deserter.

Again, someone like Kylo Ren shouldn't allow some turncoat deserter to even get close to a lucky shot, but he did.

I'm just saying - Kylo may be on par with Rey in terms of power, but it definitely didn't seem like it by the end of TFA. I'm sure it will come out in The Last Jedi, and that's what I am excited about.

In my opinion when Luke says "I've seen this raw thrength only once before. It didn't scare me enough then, it does now." He is referring to his own power before training with Yoda. When in Yoda's hut Luke randomly blurts out "I'm not afraid" to which Yoda responds "good, you will be." Rey, as Luke was (seeing she will be his daughter,) is extrememly naturally gifted in the force and is beginning her training much later than she should. I'm sure just she has some type of romanticized preconcieved notion as to what training in the ways of the Jedi will be like, not considering the weight of her decision, the burdens she'll have to bear. Furthermore, being so powerful in the force will make her a target to be turned to the dark side, in this case by Snoke, just as Luke was targeted by Sidious and Vader. Luke almost gave in to his inner darkness while battling Vader in Sidious' throne room. Luke knows how seductive the dark side can be, he was able to resist this pull to the darkness. By training Rey, he faces the potential prospect of having yet another, this time more powerful, apprentice turn to the dark. Add to that the family history and that is what scares Luke. He knows how powerful he is and how much more powerful Rey can become.

He fricked around and he was seriously wounded

They showed that chewbacca's cross bow was a beast earlier in the movie, he's psyching himself up to compensate for the pain and loss of blood. He fricks around, scrub lands a lucky tap and then he dispatches him quickly...and brutally

12 pages for a trailer

Four of which are the whiny babies complaining about "spoilers" on a movie that's locked up tighter than Ft. Knox with all the non-disclosure agreements.

Siap, but Rian johnson confirmed that Luke is indeed the last Jedi...so any of those conspiracies left can be put to bed..

Can someone quit beating around the bush and just tell me the proposed spoilers and theories based on the trailer?

My guess is he's talking about the Emperor. Luke had no idea what Sidious could do to him when he gave himself up. If his dad hadn't flipped at the last second, Luke was toast. Rey is a Palpatine.

only problem with that is the "raw" strength part. Nothing about the Emps use of the force was "raw"

I'm probably late to this but that scene where Luke has that "Oh shite" look on his face isn't because she made a crack in the ground but because she's lifting the whole fricking mountain, right?

I finally noticed they interspersed that part with her concentrating and lifting up some small rocks and pebbles.

I still think he's referring to to Ren, or even possibly Snoke. Snoke mentions the same raw power when he talks to Ren about first witnessing Ren's natural force power.

I am leaning more toward Luke speaking of Ren, but I am extremely interested in finding out Snoke's backstory and how he managed to get close enough to the Skywalkers and Solos to seduce Ren without them suspecting a thing until it was too late. The fact that Snoke has been described as a very powerful force user that uses telekinesis and telepathy, and that basically he can manipulate his surroundings using the force in ridiculous ways, I could see him being the one Luke witnessed at some point in the past who had pure raw power. Considering Rian's use of the Rainmaker in Looper, who was a ridiculously powerful "TK", it would make sense that this same phenomenon would be touched on in TLJ.

I believe the novel that just released, "Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need To Know – Updated and Expanded", also stated that he doesn't carry a lightsaber, so perhaps he is so powerful that he does not need one.

Sidious was not anything special when it came to his force powers. He was great at manipulation, and he had force lightening, which is a power that many Siths mastered and employed. I actually think that Mace Windu was the most powerful all-around force user when it came to fighting skills. His purple lightsaber signified his ability to use both Jedi techniques and Sith techniques in battle in a synergistic way without letting the dark side take control. He could feed on the emotion and energy that the dark side uses for strength without being overcome with it. This made him a very difficult Jedi to attack using traditional Sith training. This leads me to think that Rey will in some form end up with a purple lightsaber. She showed her ability to gain strength from Sith ideals such as anger, hate, etc when she fought Kylo in TFA(Those moments where she is clearly showing anger and rage just by her faceful expressions.) But she also was able to close her eyes for a moment, and find that inner balance between serenity and rage, in which she uses to finish Kylo off.

My two cents.

From what I saw of Hamill in that trailer, he looks better than I thought. He might have his best performance ever on screen in this one

Snopes is actually Weinstein. Force came into a plant potter which sprouted and grew Rey. The scene in the trailer with rey screaming was him stepping out of the shower in the background. Homage to the original incest stuff.
