Hmm... probably not great... but I'll watch.
My main complaint with the trailer is that it contains too many key moments from action scenes. I get that you want to show the audience that it's an action movie... but for people with good memories, this sucks. While I'm watching the movie, I'll be thinking... oh.. this is where the guy electrifies the floor. Oh yeah... this is the scene where he flies out of the car just before it blows up...
Give me a trailer that intrigues me... not the movie in capsule form, please.

I mean, we only get a second of the preseumable heavy, Lee Pace's masked dude kicking the grenade.
An action movie trailer has to sell the movie with action. I'm betting there will be more action.

Yeah, this looks very underwhelming. Seems very derivative, and not of the original. I've never read the book, so I have no idea if this is more accurate, but most people only know the original film.

Sure, I get what you're saying... but it's also possible she just auditioned the best.
Considering it appears that the main protagonist is a white, straight male who goes around kicking arse and getting the better of an entire city of people hunting him?
Just seems like a weird thing to focus on in the trailer, that's all.

Also possible she was cast for certain immutable characteristics.
Problem on this board is you can only acknowledge one possibility.
She was either 100% cast because her skin color, or 100% that thinking she might makes you a bigot.
Everything has to be tribal.
In today's climate I think it maybe a mix of the 2. I also accept that I can be 100% wrong.
As long as she doesn't have a dick, I'll count it as a win.

I think this looks good. Original was a classic but the angle in this one is different. More like that Awkwafina movie that came out a while back.
