I'd have to put Elf on this list. Watch it every Christmas and it doesn't get old to me

Roadhouse

Tombstone

Demolition Man

Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Goodfellas

Point Break

Rocky III

The Mummy

Harry Potter

to name a few.

To be clear, these movies made the list based solely on the fact that if I'm flipping channels I will stop on any of them regardless of how recently I've watched them.

great movies do not always mean most rewatchable..

not really always in the mood to invest time in a serious movie i already know the ending too. doesn't mean i didn't love the movie.. usually comedy is most rewatchable to me..

movies like my cousin vinny, john candy movies, mel brooks movies, major league, etc i could i watch multiple times.. shawshank is a movie though that is critically acclaimed i could watch multiple times though.

it's all different people's likes though..

Yeah, Lord of the Rings will always be my favorite movies since it's the movie that taught me to love them and to be interested in how they did it, but it is by no means the most rewatchable. They are 3 hour (4-4.5 if you go with the Extended) movies that are simply exhausting to get through. Doing a LOTR Marathon is rewarding, but man you don't want to do it again anytime soon. Big Lebowski or Office Space, I could put it right back in and be fine with watching it.
