What a great goddamn episode that was. I wonder what we’re doing the last 3 episodes? Flash forwards to them making up? Joel getting out? Maybe a happy ending after all?

Wife and I both did too. Midge/Susie was the only relationship we really didn’t want to see fricked up. It’s good that it was really only a five year split. They had a damn good run. Hopefully they both swallow their pride

Well and you can understand why they had a “breakup”. It wasn’t over something trivial but instead Susie’s role in Joel being arrested and the things that were kept from Midge.

Did Susie know what Joel did, though? I guess it would be hard for her not to know considering she still had the boys employed in 1963 and them not asking for a percentage of Midge’s money anymore.
Not taking Susie’s side at all. She should have come clean about it a long time ago and she did…in a way. Just didn’t tell Midge she was involved just that Susie herself was.

I can’t imagine her not knowing. When Midge said “You know why” you could tell by her facial expression she did.
Susie also forced Midge to work in casinos to pay off her gambling debts as well. Some shades of real life there mimicking when Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio (The Four Seasons) took on Tommy DeVito’s mob debt and toured to pay it off.

I can't see them not coming back to Lenny Bruce in some way. I know we got the send off at the airport. But he was way too important of a character to Midge's career for him not to be covered again. They may not show him again, but I can see some 80s interview asking her about it and the impact it had on her. Something along those lines...

I figure things we MIGHT see in the last three:
- Where Midge ends up when it’s all said and done. Hopefully meeting with Susie.
- We maybe see Joel and Midge reunite.
- We see her reaction to what happens to Lenny or at least acknowledging it.
- We see her play the Gordon Ford show with George gone.

I hope it ends with her showing her tits again. The same way it all began.

could’ve easily been a show finale

I think they're showing you path to how he became a Rabbi. He wasn't naturally talented in the ways the grandfather Weissman was.

Prediction after yesterday's episode:
Gordon went to see her set without Midge & Susie knowing. He knows that she wiped the floor with the other comics. She'll have to tell him that she didn't get the spot and he'll know that it's bullshite that she was passed on, so that is what convinces him to finally put her on his show. He knows she deserves it.

That’s what I suspect might be the case as well.

We could've done without the Rose thing.
