Damn good episode of television. Wish Gideon ripped Mando’s helmet off for a Pedro face reveal

Weak first half but strong second half of the episode. Music choice sucked at the end, wasn’t the right tone at all.
Why didn’t Paz use his jet pack at all?

I don't think she was returning to the ship with anyone, even though she said she had injured survivors with her.
Pretty sure they showed a shot of her piloting with survivors strewn about.

I thought for sure that was going to happen when they had him on his knees.

Right, but they focused on her leaving way too much for it not to be something bigger. They showed 2-3 shots of her ship leaving the planet. I thought either Moff was going to ambush her and the fleet, or the director was focusing on her leaving the planet to makes us keenly aware that she was not part of the group that was ambushed. I guess that could be to set her up as a rescuer, but I think she seems suspicious.

Then we'd have to waste three more episodes of him taking yet another bath in the living waters....

This is Chapter 23 and the “coruscant” alcohol bottle that Mando receives from Greef looks exactly like Cincoro which is Michael Jordan’s tequila. GOAT shite

Damn good episode. Why didn't Bo Katan use the Dark Saber to cut a hole in the door to help Din? Why just stand there and watch?

I knew when she cut a rabbit size hole out of the door that big arse Paz was done for.

Ok, couple things are bugging me about this episode. First is the severely injured mandalorians that need to be offloaded to the fleet, how were they injured? They’ve been on the planet the entire time. They are quite familiar with the terrain and how to move. Were they injured fighting? Who were they fighting? Second issue that bugs me is the big arse imperial base that no one is aware of including the mandolorians still on the planet. These things would have been noticed and yet they never gave Bo and Din a heads up.

I read that those Mandos were part of Maul’s leftover super commandos and part of clan Saxon. It’d make sense. They knew exactly where the forge was. The forge has been a Gideon base for ages. They were probably the setup after after the Coruscant spy informant early in the episode.
They may try and kill the Armorer.
Or it’s a red herring. They’re sending MFing Tie Interceptors and Bombers after their fleet.

Grogu seems useless now. Why is he going on these missions when the other foundlings aren’t? Why isn’t he using the Force? I kept waiting for him to open those blast doors to get to his daddy, guess not. Also not a fan of Gideon flying around in his suit like Ironman. I thought for sure Big Vizsla guy was gonna use a thermal detonator or self destruct device on those red guards. no doubt Bo is headed to get that Mythasaur

Apparently Gideon has been operating out of Mandalore the whole time, with the 'cursed' part helping maintain cover. These guys led them straight to them, in ambush.
I think this puts the Armorer under suspicion. Has she been a sleeper, keeping some zealots safely out of the way... and now that Bo-Katan has made some progress, is she going to wipe that group out in a suicide mission?
Clearly the clan was not in on it, Vizla went down fighting.

One episode left
Talk about a wasted season
Almost as bad as boba fett and kenobi
Favreau could care less about quality anymore with Star Wars and marvel
He’s just collecting a check
Can’t wait for andor and last season of that
Let’s see how bad they screw that one up

Gideon's helmet had horns on it like the Armorer's

It was a better episode, but for experienced warriors they sure are dumb as a box of rocks. I love how modern writers have to contrive stupidity into their characters so they will have encounters with the bad guy who loves to monolog. Second, why did they all just start shooting a door they already knew they could not shoot through when Bo made her choice to escape. Literally the door was down and not brought up until that idiot bad guy said to raise it.

I think that’s a trick and there are no turncoats. Favreau is incredibly Jewish and in the Old Testament Moses sent 12 “spies” into Canaan to determine if it was safe to settle. I’m gonna guess there were 12 mandos in the scouting party.
