I enjoyed this episode very much, and look forward to the finale, but like you said, there's a bit of a issue with the fact that Luke is out there twiddling his thumbs while this major event is going on.

well we know it isn't, but that's the problem. He's the most powerful being in the galaxy, and just took down the empire. you'd think he would be aware of this large faction trying to revive it.

Did the armorer sell everyone out? Something tells me she put the idea in Bos head to gather everyone and go to mandalore for an ambush.

The next episode better be epic because this season has been such a letdown. This one was better then what they have been given us but the bar has been low.

Episode 7 should have been titled. "A Series of Stupid Decisions"
Let's fly the sailboat straight into that monster.
Let's go directly underground without scouting.
Let's not fallback into the cave we just came through, let's fight these troopers out in the open.
Let's lose all situational awareness and fall into this obvious trap.
Let's stand here gawking instead of cutting the escape hole immediately.
Cannot wait for what is next.

Luke did not show up to face Gideon or save the Mandalorians. The episode prior Grogu reached out to any and all Jedi via sitting on that stone before being captured. Luke was able to feel/hear him through the force and came to get him.
Luke is one Jedi and remember when when we had Yoda, Mace, and the great Jedi Counsel they had no clue what was going on when Emp Palp created the empire under their noses.

Need to follow the EU and even the canon now as this was always what was going on in the Outer Rim after the ROTJ with what was left while the Empire tried to rebuild. Hence the Shadow Counsel which many showed up in this episode.

In reality many want Luke to be a super hero but outside of the EU has never really has been. In Canon he faced Vader the first time and lost. The 2nd time he refused to kill him and Vader died saving him. He got off a lucky shot using the force in the 1st movie but outside of that in Canon he has done very little.
Now if they would bring the EU version of Luke to the screen that would be a whole different animal.

Grogu is cool and all, but man I find myself cringing a lot at what they have him doing throughout this show.

I bet they’ll end up killing off all of the Mandalorians and glass Mandalore again so the Mouse has reason to further justify their shite sequel we all hate given that Mando’s don’t make an appearance or mention in their shitty trilogy.

Haha the show suffers from a lack of lightsabers at this point. They should have developed grogu into a Jedi at this point after training with Luke for two years.

Random thing I just noticed while rewatching attack of the clones. If you pause it at the 22:51 mark when Anakin is walking around the bar you can see Ahmad Best who plays Jar Jar and Beq in the background mean mugging Anakin. They could totally retcon this

You should probably watch Clone Wars too, as thats where Ahsoka, Bo Katan, and Death Watch make their first appearances
